In Loving Memory
Nerissa (6/3/87 - 2/6/04) and Alex (5/5/88 - 2/6/04)

The CFHS Leo Club website is dedicated to former Leos, Nerissa and Alex. They both died painlessly in a car accident on an icy, early Februrary morning. They are very greatly missed. In Memory of Nerissa - This website is put up by Nerissa's parents. It has a lot of really sweet things on it, and everyone should go check it out.

Memorials
There are several memorials that are being planned or created at this time. The tree itself is a living memorial right now. After the crash, it was decorated with flowers and shirts and notes. On Alex's birthday, someone tied balloons around the tree. Alex's dad is trying to save the tree, so he's patched up the gouges taken out by the jeep. He is also planning to create a garden at the base of the tree to remember the kids. Nerissa's dad is building the Youth Center in her name. Nerissa's mom is undertaking a huge Scrapbooking project for her daughter. At school, we have our two trees in the Senior Courtyard that have been donated by Pride Kraft Construction for the memorial there. Also, the Leo Club has created a scholarship in Nerissa and Alex's name.
