What is a Leo Club?

The Leo Club is a volunteer organization, a part of the Lion Clubs youth program. We serve the community for its betterment. We clean roads, we donate to charity proceeds from fund raisers, we help out the community. We do it all!

Mission Statement

The mission of the Leo Club, as taken from the offical Leo Club website is "...to provide the youth of the world (with) an opportunity for development and contribution, individually and collectively, as responsible members of the local, national and international community."

How do I join?!

To join, either track down a Leo Club member and have them give you an application or attend one of the meetings, which are every-other Wednesday. There are no dues.

Quotes About the Leo Club

"The entire Leo Club organization is full of fun and energetic people who make serving the community that much more exciting." - Sam Wilkins

"It's very laid back and relaxed. What we do in the club is not driven by a point quota; we aren't forced to do community service. We do it because we care. Plus, we have an awesome president and website! http://www.geocities.com/cfhsleoclub" - Katie Procci

"I've only been coming to Leo Club for a few weeks, but so far I'm really enjoying it. The meetings are fun because the officers and members are so personable. Everyone is really interested in helping the community become a better place, so it's not only fun, but fulfilling." - Katherine Burcham

"I just joined Leo Club this year and I love it! The meets are always hilarious and lead by one of the most energetic people I know." - Jenny Neff

"Leo club is spiffy because we go out and we get to go and pick up trash off the road that inconsiderate people of society put there. That and the pokey sticks. Gotta love the pokey sticks." - BF

"Leo Club is an awesome club because we do lots of great things that help the community, like National Federation for the Blind Walk, Roadside Clean-up, and service for different organizations and because Melissa Brice rocks my boat - SHE ROCKS!" - Aulelei Weber

"Leo Club is a soiree of people who love to help their community. It's a great opportunity to develop my leadership skills as well as have fun with my friends." - Amanda Cochran

"Leo Club is plain service, no clutter in the way of helping. The fact that all my friends are in it helps a lot, too." - Tyler Babbie

"I stayed after school one day when I was a sophomore. My friend Amanda invited me to a Leo Club meeting. We ate pizza and a man from the NFB Walk visited with his dog. When I heard how greatly this walk impacted one person's life, I knew I had to become a Leo." - Danielle Nilson

"Leo Club has expanded not only my knowledge, but also the role I play in the community. I have learned to respect my peers and other faculty by different means, though most importantly the fun we have at each meeting is priceless." - Savreen Hundal

"Leo Club is a helpful organization that gives back to the community." - James Serbinski

"I like Leo Club. :)" - Jon Leonard
