11th September 2001 will be a day remembered in the years to come. The terrorist attacks on the US put a fright into people over the world. One thing which came up in the aftermath was the destiny of skyscrapers. If the Twin Towers hadn`t been so much higher than the other building then they could have never been a target for attacks through the air like 911. One other thing was how the towers collapsed. Both of them collapsed right down spreading smoke and debris around, but the larger part of the towers collapsed right downwards. People asked how could these mighty structures collpase in matter of hours and minutes?
