are skyscaper built? After the vertical
steel columns the construction is built further
with horizontal steel girders. These are put to
support the weight and materials of each floor.
The weight from each floor is then transferred
from the steel girders to the vertical columns
and from the vertical columns down to the
substructure under the ground. Like this the
building`s weight is spread around and down so
that it get`s it firm stand on the ground. What
remains now is the cover.
