Mighty Mac

I was going to sign up for an Earthlink account, but when I installed the software supplied by Time Warner, I was prompted for an Earthlink e-mail address. Since I don't have an Earthlink account, I had to call a toll-free number to get an e-mail address. I called Earthlink and discovered that I am not yet in their system. I have to wait 3 days and call back to get an e-mail address.

Screw that.

My friend John suggested I sign up for a .mac e-mail account. It was so easy I thought there had to be a catch, given my recent tech disasters.
