The Future
For Chris??
What does the future hold exactly for our handsome
deceptive hero? Will he stand in the shadows and continue to pine
away for his long time unrequited love in Eve Lambert? Or will he
be able to move on? Perhaps with someone already in Port Charles.
Two weeks ago, I was lit up with an idea. It was an idea I had about
a year ago but it faded out ... much like Chris' so-called and yet still
unseen "big story". I thought that Chris & Gabriella would make
one stellar couple, and why? Gabi is fiesty and that is just what
Chris needs. She's no shrinking violet and she is certainly not above
taking up for herself or those she cares about. She doesn't just
sit back and fade into the woodwork. She is strong-willed, headstrong,
and eager to make a mark. She kind of reminds me of the Eve that
started on PC but soon faded out when she became part of Kevin's world.
Gabi would compliment Chris is so many ways and maybe even give him reason
to change
some of his less than savory ways. Chris finds
a person with whom he can tease and be the original Chris Ramsey we all
grew to love when PC began with Gabriella. He regains his long lost
sense of humor and even allows a smile to grace his lips whenever they
have one of their brief talks. I think Chris might find at the very
least a friend in Gabriella....someone who can appreciate him and think
of him when he's in pain instead of
blindly carrying on in her own life and not giving
him the time of day. He might also find that companionship that he's
been so desperately lacking for over the last year. While she might
never own his heart, I feel that
Gabriella stands the best chance of giving Chris something
he needs.......another person in the world to care about him. He's
spent far too long alone and isolated. I hope that TPTB will allow
Chris to at least have a friend in her.....and maybe a little something
more. :-)
Nolan Quote

PC's Nolan North misses the days when he
and Rib Hillis made the perfect couple. When Rib was killed off PC
in 1998, "it was hard for me," Nolan confesses, admitting that he lost
his sidekick for fun and games behind the scenes. "We used to steal
the golf carts on the lot. Because we were laughing so much, people
thought we were on drugs or we were a couple. We weren't ----- on
both those points," Nolan adds with a grin.--SPW
