Sexual Child Abuse
Sexual Child abuse is a big epidempic in the world. Millions of children are victims of sexual child abuse. Most of this abuse comes from family members. Sexual child also has a lot of affect on a child's life and beyond.
Sexual child abuse has leaves a mental effect on children. Some Children who are sexually abused as a child, end up being sexually active when they are chiildren and teenagers. Some think that it is okay because they exprienced it when they were a child...it is not okay at all. Children who have sexually abused, need counseling. A child should not have go through life feeling that things are okay and they are not.
Sexual intercourse between a child and a adult is seuxaul child abuse. Sexual intercourse between a child and a family member is incest. Most sexual child abuse is incest.
With the increase in the divorce rates, more children are at greater risk than ever. Women, in their attempts to find a mate, may unwittingly be putting their children at greater risk for sexual abuse from the men they date. Parents need to pay more attenetion to whom they they expose there children, not everyone can be trusted.

- 35% involve a family member(King County Rape Releif, Washington)
- 50% of all assaluts take place in the home of the child or teh offender(Sanford,1980)
- The average offender is involved with over 70 children in his ir her "career"of offending(Sanford, 1980, Abel and Becker, 1980)
Children don't always tell there parent or guardian everything. There are many reasons why children are too scared to tell, fear of consequences, retaliaton, and uncertanity are some.
