  Physical Abuse to Children can become a serious health matter. In 2004 65 children died because of child abuse. Children can also get sick and have serious bodily injuries that cannot be healed.

  Not many children are lucky enough to be saved from child there child abusers. Some are scared, or too young to tell someone else due to getting abused.
  
  Many people use physical abuse to dicipline there children. Even though it may seem like that is the only resort in order to dicipline the child it is not the best.
  
  What may seem like a harmless spanking now and then is not so harmless. Spankings can be brutal, and leave marks on a child, which sometimes are seen through clothes, and reported and a child can be taken away!
  
  Here are some alternatives for diciplining a child:

  • Warnings
  • Naps
  • Take Away Chrished Things
  
  
  Here are 10 Reasons not to Physically Abuse a Child:
  1. It's Ineffective
  2. It triggers criminal, anti-social, violent, and aggressive behavior later in life
  3. Adult Problems
  4. Leads to Abuse
  5. Can cause seriuos physical damage
  6. Trains child to be violent
  7. Slapping or any other typw of force used on the buttocks is a sexual violation
  8. Spanking lower the Child's IQ
  9. Spanking creates Fear in the child
