Ice climbing in Ouray
Ice climbing has always been and continues to be a bizarre activity which one has to wonder about the sanity of those who undertake it. Bad pro and numbing belays and the infamous "scream'n barfies" where your fingers get so cold you need to scream and barf. But why, maybe the pictures discribe it with the beautiful blue of the ice, and the approaches in the early mornings where you overlook the sun coming up on the mountains. Or maybe we have just lost our sanity
