Born on the 15th of September, 1982, in Sao Paulo, in a family full artists, Fabio learned to read music along with his alphabetical studies, at the age of six. At the age of 10, moved with his family to Vinhedo, a country city 70 km away from Sao Paulo, to which he came back at the age of 18, when he attended college. In 1994, he started learning the guitar and, in 1996, started writing poetry. In 2000, started his Language and Literature course at Sao Paulo University. In the same year, began his activities as a translator, translating, from Spanish to Portuguese, writers such as Jorge Luis Borges, Alejandra Pizarnik, Pablo Neruda and Nicanor Parra, and from Latin to Portuguese several parts of Martial and Ausonius epigrammatic poetry. At the end of 2002, joined the Scientific Initiation Program (a research program to graduation students preparing and anticipating the scientific abilities and productions, preparing the researchers to the Master’s Course), preparing a translation and analysis project about Latin poet Martial’s works. This was supported with a 2-year sponsoring by the Brazilian state agency for research an scientific development (CNPq), from aug. 2003 to jul. 2005. In the same year, publishes his first book, Amores (which still needs an English translation), and finished graduation, degreeing Bachelor in Latin and Portuguese Language and Literature. At the beginning of 2006, started his Master course, researching again Martial works.
