For 20 years it was all about homeruns, double plays, and strikeouts. Next thing I know I’m coming home and getting ready to go to school with no baseball involved. I realized rather quickly that it was different life that I was now living. I didn’t want to lose the competitive side of myself, so I picked up different hobbies like lifting weights, basketball, golf and pickleball. I was able to stick around baseball by coaching the Snow Canyon High School Freshman team and let me just say, coaching is a lot different than playing. I thought I knew it all when playing but coaching made me realize that I didn’t know as much as I thought I did. I met my wife Hallee, 2 months after getting home from Salt Lake. So yes, she made the change a little bit easier. We went to concerts, amusement parks, and on trips together. She helped me discover my passion for marketing. This discovery led to a job as being a social media manager and a media buyer for a small company here in St. George. After dating for 2 years, we got married on May 31, 2023. Now I’m working for the same company and going to graduate next fall with my bachelors degree, then transferring to Southern Utah University to get my MBA.
