Baseball From A Young Age
Baseball has been a part of my life since I was born. My dad played in the minor leagues for 12 years. Most of his years were spent with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He also played in Japan for a few months. While watching my dad play I was able to meet a lot of big names in the game like Ken Griffey Jr. also known as "The Kid" (my older brother and I ate pineapple with him) Another person we were able to meet was the catcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates, by the name of Jason Kendall. I was able to meet so many big leaguers like that beacuse my dad would get invited to play in spring training. My dad retired in 2005 and decided to be a teacher and coach at the high school level. He took a job at Snow Canyon High School to be the Head Coach and has been there since. All of my brothers including me have played for him.
Brothers
I have 3 brothers, 2 older 1 younger. They all played high school baseball at Snow Canyon High School and then went on to play collegiate baseball. My oldest brother Brogan played shortstop and second base in high school. He then signed to at Western Nevada for two years and was their starting left fielder. He then signed to play at Briar Cliff University where he played center field and finished up his baseball career there. Cannon who is the second oldest, played third base, first base, and he pitched. He signed to play at College of Southern Idaho for 2 years where he started out as a thirdbasemen then decided he wanted to be a pitcher. After his two years he signed to pitch at The Academy of Art in San Francisco. He finished up his career there. The youngest, Crew, is currently in high school and plays shortstop and pitches. He just committed to play at The College of Southern Idaho to play shortstop. All of us have helped each other become good players in high school and in college.
