Extras
Technically, these tidbits aren't part of my thesis. I just put them here because they give the site more personality, thus enhancing the feel and depth of the reader's experience. Stories are a dime a dozen, after all. Ah, such are the liberties of online publishing over print. Enjoy!
My Muses
In Greek mythology, the spiritual beings called muses, each of whom presided over one of nine different arts or sciences, were responsible for watching over and inspiring artists, poets and musicians. I'm not really an artist, but I did have a good share of inspiration when I wrote my thesis, thanks to these wonderful women.
My Friends
Clichs about the inestimable worth of true friendship abound, so I'd rather not state the obvious. Some of these people make my life a living hell at times, but I love them and I can't live without them. I sure hope they get the chance to visit my site and read this! (^_^)
