Making the Decision
Most people who leave Mexico to come to the U.S. make that decision because they want to start a better life in America: they want to live the American Dream.
Elias: I wanted to come to the United States because I knew that there was more work there, and I could easily get a job and start a new life.

Many of my friends went to America, and they were successful; I figured if they can do it, I can too!

I knew this was the right thing to do because I heard only good things about America.
Pedro: I wanted to come to the U.S. because i wanted a better life.

The person to influenced me to come to the U.S. was myself because I was tired of watching my family go through the stuggles of a Mexican person that lives in poverty.

I wasnt sure in my decision, but I was willing to take a risk in ordder to have a better life.
Jose: I wanted to come to the U.S. because I wanted a better job and life for my family and me.

The people that influenced me was my younger brothers and sisters because they didnt have a good life.

I wasnt sure about making the desicion becuase I didn't want to leave anything behind, especially my family, but I knew that they were struggling so I had  to do something about it.
Juan Carlos: I feel I made the right decision because I had no where else to go.

The person that influenced me was myself and my workers.

I was always sure about making my decsion especially because my family and I didnt get along at the time.
