| Life in the United States is much different for people coming from Mexico. Here in America, they have secure jobs and pay; things they could never achieve in Mexico. Although the beginning was tough, it was all worth the risk and the work. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Elias: The first thing I thought when I arrived in America was, "I found what I was looking for." Life in America is much different than life in Mexico. Here, I got a job easily. Unlike in Mexico, here, I have a secure job and secure pay. |

| Pedro: When I arrived to America I was scared because I didnt have a place to stay, eat, and I didnt know were to get a job. And worse, I didnt know how to communicate with people. Life in America is much easier in the long run because it is tough in the begining but after that, life seems to get much better than Mexico. |

| Jose: My first impression when I got to America was that there were a lot of white people and I didnt know how to comunitcate with them. Life in America is much better because you get paid more and you're free, except when you got to run from the boader patrol (La Migra) and when you think of your old country and freinds. |
