What started it all...

One day, on the 6th of November, 2003, I called Basil "Slave" on the Overseer Forums

On the 7th day of that same month, I called my young slave "Basil".

This was because, after talking to Sucram about a payout for Lizard, I finally came up with one.

The reason I was asking for a nickname for Lizard was that I had changed my signature on Overseer to some sort of declaration that Lizard was my slave. This was our conversation (or part of it)

So the next day I asked Sucram, who came up with drazil

Which, of course, would never do for a payout. But... I kept thinking... "Drazil... Razil... BASIL!"

From then on, my young slave was known to me as Basil

From these, we learn many other things. Ben is part penguin. Both Enzo and I were going to end up with Xhari before we were both saved.
