In addition to the 17 returning players, we had over 80 players try out for the 2004 team, but unfortunately we can only carry 30 players. Paul Yun   Although the teams have not performed incredibly well thus far in the season, the seeds of improvement are flourishing as much as the seeds of grass on the new field. The outlook for the future of the Van Nuys High School baseball program is good as there are only six seniors among this year's group and seven freshmen waiting to replace them.   Check back at the end of the season for final win-loss totals, statistics and all-league honors.
