Ontario Choirs
The Elmer Iseler Singers, based in Toronto, are among the leading
chamber choirs in the world. Currently conducted by Lydia Adams,
the choir was lead by Dr. Elmer Iseler, until his death in 1998.

The Nathaniel Dett Chorale is Canada's first professional choral group
dedicated to Afrocentric music of all styles including classical,
spiritual, gospel, jazz, folk and blues. The Chorale is comprised of
20 classically trained musicians and will provide a forum for
promoting public awareness of, and interest in, original works of
Afrocentric composers, past present and future.

The Ontario Youth Choir comprises 40 of Ontario's finest young singers
between the ages of 16 and 22, auditioned from every region of the
province. The choir trains together for one intensive week and then
sets out on a week-long tour of Ontario, presenting concerts and

Organizations
Choirs Ontario is an arts service organization dedicated to the
promotion of choral activities and standards of excellence.
Established in 1971 as the Ontario Choral Federation, Choirs Ontario
provides services to choirs, conductors, choristers, composers,
administrators and educators as well as anyone who enjoys listening to
the sound of choral music.
