Orie Amano's Story
This section contains spoilers of Orie's storyline. This is intended for people who can't get the game or read Japanese to know about her without playing. Unless you want to play the game for yourself, do not read this section.
This is basically a summary of Orie's storyline. Although I'm not giving out gaming tips on how to get her, the summary may give away clues on how to obtain her ending.
Her Story
When you play the game, you may have seen scenes of Akihiko in his childhood years. It randomly appears in the game.
The dream involves a young Akihiko & a group of friends playing in a park & one of them spotting a bird nest in a tree. One of them thinks about climbing the tree to take a look while the rest decide to leave because it's dangerous. But Akihiko decides to stay. The child climbs up the tree to take a closer look at the nest & see some baby birds.
If you have seen the scene mentioned above from Akihiko's dream, it's basically a hint about the secret character, Orie. Seeing these dreams doesn't mean you will meet her.
One day, Akihiko finds Noboru going out in a strange fashion. Seeing this suspicious behaviour, he decides to follow him in the shadows. He makes three attempts in three days.
In the first attempt, Noboru spotted Akihiko. In the second attempt, Akihiko lost track of him. In the third attempt, he manages to track him.
Akihiko finds Noboru in a video store that is located above a game center. Akihiko decides to call out to Noboru, pretending that he's shopping in the store & Noboru gets surprised. Akihiko finds a porn video in his hands. Caught, Noboru tells him what he was doing.
After paying for the porn video & heading back to the dorm, Akihiko tells Noboru that he was actually following him & wasn't shopping there. Noboru was surprised on how he was managed to be tracked down & decides to lead Akihiko a porn video from one of his prized adult collection. Noboru tells Akihiko that the sale clerk at the video store is a guy, so there is no worries in buying adult videos there.
Since then, Akihiko goes to the video store. The clerk that Noboru talks about greets Akihiko each time he goes & tells him about the discount bin increasing with new titles. He purchases one video each time.
One day while walking to the station, the video store clerk calls out to Akihiko from behind. Akihiko doesn't recognize the person until the person tells him. Akihiko gets shocked when he finds out that the clerk is actually a girl named Orie.
Akihiko always thought that Orie was a boy because of Noboru & honestly tells her. However, she doesn't mind since a lot of people thinks she's a boy. Together they go to the park & have a chat.
Apparently, Orie is new to the town & her family tends to move around because of her parents' work. Because of this, she doesn't have friends. Automatically, Orie calls Akihiko her friend which surprises him a bit. But he doesn't mind. Before they separate, Orie takes him to the game center & take a photo at a sticker photo booth.
After a few days & runs to the video store, Akihiko & Orie go out again to spend some time together at the beach on their holidays. Orie notices his huge scar on his back & he tells her that he got it from his childhood years which he can't remember how.
Orie looks extremely worried about the scar & asks Akihiko a lot if it hurts. He is surprised on how she acted since she is always joyful & happy. The next night, they go to the summer festival together after Noboru tells Akihiko about it.
When Akihiko visits the video shop, he finds Orie a little down. She doesn't tell him what's on her mind.
Later that week, Orie phones Akihiko to go on a date on Friday. Although it is his day off, he was wonder if it was okay with Orie since it isn't for her day off. On the date, they go to different places including the front of #4. She talks about how nice it would be to work there.
When they reach the park, Akihiko asks Orie what's happening since it is unusual for her to call him out for a date & having low energy. She finally tells him that the video store is closing down due to difficulties in management & is looking for work.
Thinking of the situation, Akihiko decides to get Orie to work at #4. First they go to the restaurant for her to get use to the atmosphere. Leaving the restaurant, Orie decides to apply there by phoning him the next day & Akihiko helps her out.
With Akemi asking Natsuki, Orie manages to get an interview the next day. From there, Orie gets interviewed by Akemi & is approved.
Later that night, Akihiko & Orie go to the beach for the fireworks display. As they are about to leave, Akihiko gets bumped by someone who apologizes. Orie quickly & sadly asks Akihiko if he is ok & starts caressing his scar. Akihiko tells her not to worry as the pain is long gone, but she still feels sad.
Later on, Akihiko takes Orie to the dorm to give her a tour since she doesn't know if she wants to stay there or not. At the end of the tour, they go to his room & have a chat.
Orie discovers that Akihiko is living in Tokyo & is here as support for #4. She tells him that she's sad about the situation & has lost her friend once again. She decides to leave, only to be stopped by heavy rain outside.
Orie decides to stay in Akihiko's room for the time being. She tells him the story about her childhood friend that she lost ten years ago. Hearing the story, Akihiko is shocked as it is the same one in his dreams.
The continuation of the childhood story reveals that Orie climbed up a tree to look at some baby birds. When Akihiko told her to come down, she couldn't as she climbed very high without noticing it. Climbing down, she falls & Akihiko tries to catch her. In the attempt, he injuries himself which resulted in his huge scar. Orie was uninjured, but cried for Akihiko.
Later, Orie moved out of town because of her parents' job & both her & Akihiko promised to meet each other again. However, the older Akihiko forgotten about this. In order to make new memories for each other again, they spend the night together.
The next couple of days, Orie begins her training at #4 , thanks to Akihiko's kindness. Akemi goes though some simulation training with her & has Orie read the training manual.
However, Orie doesn't get the chance to go to the Hokkaido trip that the company planned out days ago since she came in late. Akihiko decides to stay with her & tells Akemi that he can't go due to reasons that he can't say. Orie overhears this & is sad for him not going, but happy that he's staying with her.
With the dorm empty, Orie decides to stay over at Akihiko's room by surprise. He doesn't know about this until they come back from the beach that day. There, they make more memories together.
At the end of his transfer period, Akihiko waits for Orie on the beach. Orie still feels down about his departure, but he comforts her about how he will visit her at #4 in the future.
The game ends months later as Akihiko welcomes Orie, who makes a surprise visit, to #2 as a customer while travelling alone.
