Despite the game's success, the characters are what drew the fans in. Not only did the fans liked the character designs, people who don't know a single thing about the game were also drawn to them; males or females. In fact, those group of people didn't know that it came from an eroge. Even if they did, they were still attached to them.
With lot of people loving the characters, what do you do? You make merchandises out of them & gain a profit at the same time.
There are a lot of merchandises of the Pia Carrot!! 3 female characters out there that it almost makes it look like an Eva or Love Hina cash cow. The game has been dead for a long time, but some toy companies are still producing the game's characters. These companies include Kotobukiya, Azone, Chibihzu, enter brain, Musashiya, & more. Even fan made garage models of the characters are made as well as doujinshi.
There are virtually every type of product of Pia Carrot!! 3 available in terms of collectables. You name it & it's probably available or been made. Gashapon, PVC figurines, resin kit, coldcast statues, trading figurines, phone cards, cushions, pencil boards, trading cards, art books, & more. There is even a Pia Carrot!! 3 typing PC game. When Pia Carrot!! G.O. came out, toy companies slowly stopped making Pia Carrot!! 3 merchandises.
A number of the merchandises available are either not popular or very rare. The most popular characters made into merchandises are usually Sayaka, Tomomi, & Takako. The other characters do get their share in the spotlight, but those three are usually the best sellers. The most you see out of them are them being sold as figurines in swimsuits.
