Natsuki Iwakura's Story
This section contains spoilers of Natsuki's storyline. This is intended for people who can't get the game or read Japanese to know about her without playing. Unless you want to play the game for yourself, do not read this section.
This is basically a summary of Natsuki's storyline. Although I'm not giving out gaming tips on how to get her, the summary may give away clues on how to obtain her ending.
Her Story
Akihiko meets Natsuki for the first time at #4. There, she introduces herself to him as the current temporary manager. He finds out that she's filling in this position until Akemi is approved to be the manager of #4. Also, he sees the new uniforms for the female staff & hears about the company gathering.
At the company gathering, Akihiko takes some time to talk to Natsuki. He learns that she's friends with Akemi & they used to go to the same university. He also learns that she is pretty much strictly business & doesn't really share her personal life much. She was cold & gave straight simple answers to him about her education background. She didn't bother to share her hobbies to him.
Time passes since #4 opened & Akihiko started working. Akihiko have small talks with Natsuki at times in regards about her work as a manager & how hard it is such as having no specific shifts & doing overtime. He even drops by to #4 as he passes by & kindly offers his help if needed.
Natsuki likes Akihiko to do a lot of work in the storage since the restaurant is short of male staff members to do heavy physical labour. She checks on him from time to time to ensure he's doing his work properly. She's quite strict & she shows it.
In one situation where Natsuki was inspecting Akihiko's work at the storage area during his break, she scolds him for cutting corners & how a head restuarant representative is doing this. She tells him to fix it up before he leaves.
At the end of the shift, Akihiko leaves two boxes undone since he couldn't finish in time. After getting the result from him, Natsuki tells him to left it for tomorrow since going overtime isn't necessary.
There was another incident where Akihiko unknowingly punched in his time card one minute late. Because of this, Natsuki scolds him & Noboru as well for their tardiness; especially for Noboru since it's his third time in his tenth day at work. She tells Akihiko that she is disappointed by his performance & being a poor role model to the #4 staff since he came from the head restuarant.
Akihiko apologizes to Natsuki & starts thinking about being more careful around her. Noboru badmouths about Natsuki's scolding to them after she leaves. Asked by Akihiko why he didn't talk back to her when he had the chance, Noboru tells him that he couldn't because of her beautiful face. In the end, Noboru accepted the fact as Akihiko told him that it was technically their fault for being late to begin with.
At the end of one of the schedule setups, Natsuki asks Akihiko if it is true that the dorm that he lives in has an open-air bath. When he tells her yes, she thinks about stopping there the next day which is her day off.
After Akihiko gets off work the next day, he finds Natsuki along the way to the dorm. He takes her to the dorm since she has never been there before.
When Natsuki & Akihiko arrive at the dorm, she meets Takako. They start off nice until Natsuki asks for the dorm manager. She gets surprised when she learns that the 30 year old manager that Akemi told her about is actually Takako as she comments about how young she looks.
From there, Takako makes a comment about how Natsuki is wearing heavy makeup for her age. They would later get into a quarrel about their appearances & Akihiko gets knocked out for trying to stop them.
After the fight ended & Akihiko rested in his room, he decides to go take a bath in open-air bath area. When he enters the bath & relaxes, he hears Natsuki's voice from the other side & decides to talk to her about the bath.
As the story progress, Natsuki is impressed with Akihiko's recent performance in the storage area. This freaks out Akihiko a bit as he doesn't get to see her smile face or get such praises from her when she seems to set her standards & evaluation higher than the head restaurant.
Later on, Natsuki asks Akihiko during his break if he could do some overtime work for her & he agrees. After Natsuki leaves & Akhiko finally goes on his break, he begins to wonder why she told him to be in his regular clothes for this work & what the task is.
After work, Akihiko & Natsuki meet in front of #4 in their regular clothing. He finds out it's not related to #4's work, but her personal life. She used her managerial powers to have him be a carrier for her personal shopping . Either way, he still agrees to help.
On the way, Natsuki tells Akihiko that she's buying a tea set. Since she lives alone & only has tableware enough for one person, she feels that she should get more in case of company coming. During their shopping, Akihiko sees a different side of Natsuki who is now more gentle & kinder.
After shopping, Akihiko follows Natsuki to her apartment to drop off the items. She invites him in & offers tea using her newly brought tea set & to pay for his service. He refuses the money as he accepts the tea as payment. When asked, he agrees that he's willing to help her again if she needs it in the future. From there, they talk about things about work.
In Natsuki's apartment over tea, Akihiko asks her if he has been any help to #4. Asking him why, he tells her how he messed up in the storage room with the boxes. She apologizes to him for that & tells him that he's been great so far.
Akihiko then apologizes about his one minute late situation to Natsuki. She apologizes to him as well for that & saying that she may have gone overboard about it to him. However, Akihiko tells her that she shouldn't apologize since it was his fault.
From there, Natsuki tells Akihiko why she doesn't live in the dorm as she feels that she would get too friendly with the staff & know about her personal life. By being away from others, she can put up a cold strict attitude without problems & hurting them too much. Plus, she tells him that her boyfriend won't be bother by her regularly this way.
Hearing this Akihiko wonders if Natsuki does have a boyfriend & asks her about it. Here, she teases him about what if she did & didn't scenarios. Akihiko realizes that she treats him as a boy & is later told by her that she'll be strict at work tomorrow.
The holiday weekend arrives & #4 is closed. Akihiko decides to call Natsuki after figuring out her holiday schedule from the day before during his conversation with her from his break. He asks her if she wants to go to the beach together. She declines, but agrees to go on the next day as she needs to buy a swimsuit. The two decide to meet at the beach at 2PM.
When Akihiko arrives to the beach, he finds Natsuki being picked up by a man. When Akihiko calls out to her, she returns his call & runs to him as the man walks away. Asked if he was someone she knew, she told him no & that was the second person trying to pick her up.
Natsuki & Akihiko spend some time together at the beach & he gets nervous being with her. In one scenario, she asks him to apply some sunblock lotion on her back. After he finishes, she scolds him as she tells him to cool his head.
After going for a swim, Natsuki tells Akihiko that she's starting to see him as less as a boy now. She also tells him about the upcoming fair happening later at night & asks if he wants to join her. After agreeing, they decide to meet at 7PM.
At night, Akihiko & Natsuki attend the summer fair. At the fair, they enjoy some quality time together childishly. In one boothstall, she sees a toy glass bead ring that catches her attention. She tells him how surprised to see those still being sold & how she brought one when she was a kid & treasured it. Seeing how interested she is to it, Akihiko buys the ring for Natsuki.
After buying the cheap ring, Akihiko began to have second thoughts about it as Natsuki looks at it stunned. However, she happily accepts it as the ring is a present to her. Natsuki places the ring on her wedding finger & Akihiko warns her about it. This shocks her a bit asking if it was bad & wonders which finger to put it on. But, Akihiko tells her to leave it as it is & he is embarrassed already.
Leaving the ring on her wedding finger, Natsuki tells Akihiko that this isn't the first time someone brought her a ring. Hearing this, he becomes more embarrassed in give her a cheap ring since the previous person probably brought her a real ring. However, she tells him how she will treasure it.
As #4 reopens & Akihiko works again, Natsuki's attitude towards Akihiko is a bit more cheerful. Instead of her cold strict face, she smiles a bit to him now.
On the 16th, Akihiko finds Natsuki working on the payroll. He offers his service in massaging her shoulders as she tells him how heavy they feel. She hesitates a bit since it was his break time, but accepts. During the massage, Akihiko find her moans to be a bit sexual. Finishing up, Natsuki thanks him & decides to reward him for it in the future.
The next day during Akihiko's break in the storage, Natsuki goes to him & asks if he has anything planned at 5PM. Saying no, Natsuki invites him to her apartment to reward him. She tells him that she'll prepare dinner for him & Akihiko gladly accepts.
After work, Akihiko & Natsuki meet outside #4 & go shopping for ingredients. Along the way, she tells him how long it has been since she prepared dinner for someone else.
During dinner & enjoying Natsuki's cooking, Akihiko surprisingly learns that Natsuki & Akemi use to work at the head restaurant. Natsuki worked for one year & Akemi worked for two. Natsuki left at March. Akihiko started in April, meaning he missed her by a month.
As Akihiko eats, he starts to think about the atmosphere he's in as he & Natsuki are alone. He also wonders if Natsuki has a boyfriend as she mentioned about the past ring present before.
Seeing how he's holding back, Natsuki asks Akihiko what's on his mind. Nervously, he tells her about the environment they are in & asks just for today to play as lovers. Being a little surprised, Natsuki gladly accepts his idea & tells him that they should spend the night slowly together.
After dinner, Natsuki & Akihiko sit down & rest as she drinks some sake. She tells him how she enjoys it & usually drinks by herself. This is the first time that she has drunk with someone else. She tells the nervous Akihiko to come close as they are suppose to play as lovers tonight. From there, they spend the night together.
The next morning, Akihiko wakes up seeing Natsuki next to him in her bed. She tells him that he should forget about last night which shocks him. Seeing how he refuses, Natsuki tells him straight that she has a fiancé & was supposed to get married back in April. His name is Seiji. She even tells Akihiko that it's getting to dangerous for them as she starting to fall for him. She asks him not to make it difficult for her as it is.
When Akihiko asks Natsuki if she loves Seiji, she pauses & says that she's not sure which was the reason why she ran away. They never had a lot of time for each other cause of work. Up to now, no one knows where she is as she lost contact with her family & Seiji. Even after he leaves her apartment, Akihiko can't accept this as he gave his true feelings to her already & he wasn't playing with her.
As he feels sad about the situation during his day off, Akihiko decides to go to #4 & wait for Natsuki outside until the restaurant closes. Waiting, he decides to make up his mind & accept what she will say to him.
When Natsuki comes out of #4, she is surprised to see Akihiko there. He tells her straight that he still has feelings for her & asks her to tell him that she hates him so he can end this feeling.
However, Natsuki reminded Akihiko about how he shouldn't how make it difficult for her & tells him that it's impossible for her to say that she hates him. From there, she asks him to embrace her & they spend another night together at her place.
Waking up the next morning, the bond between Akihiko & Natsuki is now stronger than before. However, Akihiko is still bothered about Natsuki's engagement situation.
Times passes & the fireworks festival is happening later at night. Akihiko invites Natsuki, who doesn't need to work overtime, to the beach shores. Afterwards, Akihiko takes her home & Natsuki invites him in for tea.
However, it would turn into another stay over for Akihiko when he asks Natsuki her permission. The next day is Natsuki's day off & Akihiko learns that she has an appointment that day.
Over the phone, Akihiko asks Natsuki to come over to #4 when she has time. She accepts & tells him that she may come around the evening. During his break, Akemi asks him for help as the deliveries arrived earlier than expected & Noboru is by himself.
Akihiko helps Noboru out for a hour & Akemi thanks him for it. She also tells Akihiko that she saw Natsuki in front of the restaurant with a man. Akihiko asks Akemi where they went & goes to the park to search for them thinking the man is Seiji. However, it turns out to be her father.
Akihiko eavesdrops into the conversation between Natsuki & her father & learns that Natsuki's family runs a small factory. Her father had a hard time finding someone to finance it as he was rejected by many companies. It was Seiji that became the family's financial support that made the factory grow.
Natsuki's father tells her that she shouldn't marry Seiji with the thought that she owes him for supporting her family's company as it is her own life & she's free to choose. Feeling glad that he found Natsuki & she's ok, her father leaves with a smile. Hearing all this, Akihiko has thoughts about this situation.
At night, Akihiko calls Natsuki & tells her that he has something important to talk to her about. She agrees & decide to meet at the beach. At the beach under the rainy weather, the two meet & Akihiko wants to ask her about the type of person that Seiji is. However, she stops him & tells him about her meeting with her father earlier in the evening.
The story Natsuki tells Akihiko is the same as he heard. Plus, she tells him the reason why she ran away. She didn't know the answer to the engagement as she felt indebt to Seiji for helping her family & she doesn't know if she really loves him. She asks Akihiko to wait under she talks to Seiji about her situation.
The next night after the company meeting at #4, Akihiko waits for Natsuki outside. They talk about preparations for tomorrow's company trip to Hokkaido. However, he discovers that Natsuki isn't going.
Natsuki promised to meet with Seiji the next day & wants to give him her answer. She wants to finish this as quick as possible & tells Akihiko to wait for the continuation of her story.
Hearing this, Akihiko decides not to go as well, which shocks Natsuki & yet makes her feel happy. He tells her that he'll wait for her answer & whatever choice she makes, he'll support it.
The next day, Akihiko talks to Natsuki on the phone & asks what time Seiji will meet with her. She will tell Akihiko the result of their conversation by phoning him later. Feeling intense, he decides to wait outside of Natsuki's condo instead.
When Seiji steps out of the Natsuki's condo building, Akihiko unintentionally calls out to him without thinking. After introduce who he is to him, Seiji asks him if he has time to talk. They go to the beach & talk about Natsuki.
Akihiko learns how Seiji fell in love for Natsuki. Seiji knew that she wasn't being honest to herself & thinks that she's doing this because he gave her father the business loan. She probably thinks that if she doesn't marry him that he'll stop financing her family's company. From their dates, she never truly smiled for him. If Natsuki accepts Seiji, he would quit his job as he feels that he isn't giving her a lot of attention as it is.
When Akihiko tells Seiji that Natsuki should be free to choose what she wants to do with her life, Seiji agrees. After they depart & promise to meet again in the future, Akihiko goes back to Natsuki's condo & calls her room.
Natsuki tells Akihiko that she called his place after Seiji left. He tells her that he met Seiji & had a talk for about 30 minutes. However, she doesn't give a clear answer to Akihiko of her current situation as she's still deciding. But she won't run away anymore.
Being sure, Akihiko tells Natsuki that he'll come back in the spring & work for #4 so they can be together. Natsuki feels happy about it.
The final day arrives for Akihiko to work at #4. At work, he discovers from Akemi that Natsuki has quit her job. Her resignation is due to family circumstances & her engagement. In shock, he goes to her condo during his break.
Akihiko stands outside of the Natsuki's condo & rings her up a few times. Finding out that she's no longer there & feeling down, Natsuki appears behind him & asks him for why he's here. He tells her that he's on his break, but the break is very long according to Natsuki.
Akihiko has a hard time saying congratulations to Natsuki for choosing with Seiji as he has his back to her most of the time. When he finally says it in front of her eyes, she tells him that she has something to return to him.
Natsuki gives back the ring that Akihiko brought for her in the summer fair. She tells him that the ring has too many memories in this town & would be hard for her to leave. He takes it & feels defeat from Seiji.
However in surprise, Natsuki asks Akihiko to put the ring on her wedding finger for her to show Seiji that she's engaged to Akihiko when she goes back to see him. He does as he's told & the both of them kiss. Natsuki tells him to wait for her & she'll come back to him to be together forever. This brings the story to an end.
