Nana Kimishima's Story
This section contains spoilers of Nana's storyline. This is intended for people who can't get the game or read Japanese to know about her without playing. Unless you want to play the game for yourself, do not read this section.
This is basically a summary of Nana's storyline. Although I'm not giving out gaming tips on how to get her, the summary may give away clues on how to obtain her ending.
Her Story
Akihiko meets Nana for the first time when he & Tomomi try to find #4. Nana mistakes him for a religious solicitor trying to sell her something & runs away in panic.
At #4, Akihiko meets Nana again & she starts to freak out thinking he's a stalker as she tells Natsuki to call the police while hiding behind her. However, Natsuki clears things up for Nana as she tells her not to jump to conclusions & she starts to feel relieve.
However, Nana continues to call Akihiko a solicitor for some time. He discovers that Nana isn't living in the company dorm since she's a local resident & got special permission.
At the company gathering, Akihiko & Nana become partners in the flag hunting event. He learns a bit about Nana. How she has a lot of stamina, enjoys nature, & is knowledgeable about the area. He also learns that she has some sort of bad history with the boating area for some reason. At times, they spend some time goofing off during the event but manage to finish it in time.
After the barbeque, Akihiko learns that Nana is a student as well. She envies Akihiko for managing to do both schooling & working at the same time.
Time passes since #4 opened & Akihiko started working. Although he see Nana at work, most of his encounters with her occur outside mainly in the park after work. There are times where Nana & him take a stroll in the park or do some exercise.
Here, Akihiko learns how slow she is & a simple girl at that. One time, Nana gets nervous around him as she was about to ask him something & later runs away. Akihiko thought it was a confession.
At work, Akihiko finds a sighing Noboru in the office at work. Noboru is feeling depressed that he can't meet "her" & "her" face since it's "her" day off today. Akihiko thinks that he's in love with Natsuki. He tells him that he'll support his love for Natsuki which surprises Noboru as he asks him if he's thinking properly. When Noboru steps out of the office, Akihiko begins to think that it was Nana.
More clues hint up when Akihiko joins Nana & Noboru during a break as they have a friendly chat about how the two men are good friends & why they chose to work at Pia Carrot.
A final clue is where most of the #4 group are going home & Nana goes her separate ways to the station. Worried, Noboru decides to walk her home as he chases after her. Things get interesting when Nana invites Akihiko to a date on their next day off.
During their date, Nana suggests to Akihiko that they should go for a boat ride in the park. Akihiko tells her not to push it if she isn't comfortable with it, but she insists. On the way to the lake, Nana tells him how her fear of water & boats came about.
Eight years ago, Nana's sneaked into one of the boats at the boat rental booth to get a closer look at a scenery. Little did she know that the boat drifted away from land. A young boy came to her rescue as he swam to her boat which was floating there for hours. Nana didn't get the boy's name nor thanked him. Shenever saw him again.
Hearing Nana's story, Akihiko gently rows the boat. Although Nana says she's having fun, she's actually scared from the shaking of the waves on the boat. After the ride, Nana treats him to some ice cream, only to have her eat them all as she couldn't decide which one to take since both are her favourites.
Afterwards, Nana continues on with the boat story on how that boy was her first love & she had been going to the park hoping to meet the boy again ever since that day. She believes that the boy is Noboru. After hearing the story, Akihiko decides to support & help her confess her love to Noboru.
When national holidays arrived & #4 closed, Akihiko calls Nana & invites her to the beach. During this time, there is a Miss Swimsuit competition going on. He suggests Nana to take part in it. She hesitates for awhile & decides to take his offer.
At the end of the day, she manages to make it to the finals of the Miss Swimsuit competition. The next day, the competition continues at the beach. Nana wins first place & Akihiko congratulates her.
Later that day, Akihiko & Nana go to the summer fair together after Noboru tells him about it. Akihiko sees Noboru there & calls him to join them.
At the end of the festival, Akihiko suggests that he & Noboru should take Nana home since it was dark. However, he lies by saying he remember he had to do something & leaves Noboru with her to get their love going.
Time passes & relationship between Nana & Noboru grows. Although they do have feelings for each other, they haven't taken it beyond friends. However, Akihiko continues to support Nana in confessing her feelings to Noboru.
One day after work at the back of #4, Nana tells Akihiko that she wants to ask Noboru to go to the park with her. She plans to go on a boat ride with him to help him recall the meeting that they had eight years ago. However, she doesn't have the encourage to say it. So, Akihiko tells her that he'll do it for her.
When Akihiko goes to the office, he finds that Noboru was looking for him & wondering where Nana is. It turns out that he had the same idea in asking Nana out as well. Akihiko tells him that Nana is outside; making his job easier.
At the park, Nana & Noboru are enjoying time together. Little did they know that Akihiko is spying on them. Everything seems to go smoothly except that Noboru doesn't seem to recall the incident back then when Nana asks him if he use to come to the park a lot when he was a kid.
Near the end of the day, Nana gets tired & sleeps on Noboru's shoulders on a bench. Stroking her hair, he tells her how he's glad that he went to work at #4. Thinking everything went well & about to take his leave, Akihiko notices that Noboru's facial expression changed. He says something about the situation being strange & he leaves the park with Nana still on the bench.
Confused, Akihiko goes up to Nana who wakes up crying when she realized that Noboru left her. Akihiko tells Nana that Noboru may come back as he may have some important business to attend too.
However after hours of waiting, Noboru doesn't appear. Akihiko decides to take Nana to the station. Angry about Noboru's actions, he goes to Noboru's room & asks him why he left her in the park. Noboru gives him a cold attitude & tells him to leave him alone.
After the park incident, Nana becomes worried about Noboru not liking her & possibly think that her feelings for him may not be love. In the meantime, Noboru continues his cold attitude towards Akihiko.
The story progresses as Nana & Akihiko are talking to each other during their break. Nana comes in with drinks for Akihiko & an extra one, which is for Noboru when he comes in shortly for his break.
When Noboru comes in, he gives Akihiko & Nana the cold shoulder. When Nana offers him the drink, Noboru refuses & hits her hand; causing her to drop the drink. Noboru surprises himself a little & then leaves the office cursing himself. Nana cries as she picks up the shards of glass from the floor. She's trying to understand Noboru's attitude towards her.
Annoyed with his action, Akihiko finds Noboru at the back of the restaurant & demands an answer on why he did that, an apology for Nana, & how she loves him. Noboru refuses to believe Akihiko's words about Nana loving him & tells Akihiko what happened in the park as he thinks the two of them were making him a fool.
When Nana was dozing on Noboru's shoulder, she gently called out Akihiko's name in her sleep & how much she loves him. Hearing this, Akihiko was stunned & couldn't find an answer to it.
Also in the conversation, Noboru tells Akihiko Nana's birthday is August 26 & it's approaching soon. Noboru plans to sort out his feelings for Nana & give her his answer then. Since this conversation, Akihiko starts to see Nana differently; more than friends. Times passes a bit & Noboru makes a date with Nana as he tells her that's when he'll give his answer to her.
During the Hokkaido trip & before the trip to the cart lift, Noboru & Akihiko have a small talk. Noboru tells him that he still loves Nana, but he'll respect her feelings on who is loves.
Nana & Akihiko spend some time together at the night of the cart lift ride. They meet at the top of the mountain. Here, Akihiko starts to understand his feelings for Nana & suddenly hugs her from behind when she tells him how she's not experience in love & how she dated him & Noboru as her firsts.
Akihiko begins to understand that he loves Nana. Nana somehow feels the same as well for him. He tells her to wait for him on her birthday after her date with Noboru & plans to give her an answer.
The day of leaving Hokkaido, the #4 staff stop by a farm as their last trip. Nana & Akihiko go to the horse stables where he sees more of Nana's gentle side & her love for animals.
On the day of Nana's birthday, Noboru & Akihiko go out to buy a birthday gift for Nana. Little did they know that they will be going out at the same time & places. After purchasing their gifts for Nana in a price war, they go their separate ways wishing each other luck.
Noboru's meeting time with Nana is 4PM which is the same as Akihiko's. As Akihiko waits in the city station, Nana doesn't show up at 4PM. However, he continues to wait for a long time.
When Akihiko starts to think that he lost to Noboru, Nana suddenly appears & apologizes that she is late. Nana told Akihiko that she took some time rejecting Noboru. He hands Nana her gift & she gives him her answer: she loves him.
Later, Akihiko & Nana go to his dorm where she spends the night together with him & make precious memories for both. This was Nana's best birthday present that she ever received.
The next day, which is the last for Akihiko to work at #4, Noboru wants to talk to Akihiko at the back of the restaurant. He congratulates him for winning Nana's heart & promises to take care of her when he goes back to #2. No guy except him will be getting close to her when Akihiko is gone. He jokingly warns him however about taking Nana away in the future.
On the day before he leaves, Akihiko meets with Nana at the beach. She tells him that she'll keep working at #4 as she waits for him to come back in Spring. From there, they make a promise.
The story ends when Nana sees Akihiko off at the train station. She tells him that she will wait for him as he promises to come back soon.
