Got some Fate/Tiger Coliseum stuff this week. The limited edition game & PSP accessories. Don't know why I ended up getting the accessory kit, but I remember the earphones attracting me. As for the game, that LE box was heavy because of the artbook being big & hard covered. Once I got the game, I immediately opened the box after doing some scans for future reviews. I pretty much knew that I needed to update my PSP since I was on 3.40. So no surprises in going 3.51. But I forgot that I was updating a Japanese version of the firmware from the game after updating it. Crap. Anyways, a short & brief on-hands review of the game. It wasn't easy as I thought in terms of picking up the game. I knew I was going to be wasted, but not that badly. Even though I watched the tutorial section (which I think I didn't pay attention to), I got my ass handed down. However, I managed to get it going right when I started to win first place in the free battle mode & understanding the rules for Tiger Ball Battle. Overall, fun game that requires a lot of skills as the play control is complex. Recommended to be picked up but the amount of Japanese text can be a pain as you need to play around a bit to see what mode is what & what does what.
I also got my Trinty Blood PVC figurine of Estel Blanche yesterday. Currently not a hot selling item. Probably because Estel isn't a popular character or the figurine's terrible. I was iffy about ordering it at first & took it as a risk. Taking a look at it from inside the box, it's an ok figurine from first impression & it's much darker in colour than the promo ad pics. Plus the face, which was my main concern on this figurine, is indeed manga style. Overall in brief, nice figurine to get if you like the manga designs of Trinty Blood.
As mentioned before & you may have noticed, some parts of this site has changed in terms of the layout a bit unannounced. This will continue for long time. Because of this, reviews on new stuff (particularly anime reviews), will be very slow. You will have to bear with it really. But for now, I got reviews of Devil May Cry & Murder Princess. Both complete reviews. Since my birthday is coming up & I won't be making a news update here at that day, here's a small gift in the Downloads section. Available is WIZ ANNIVERSARY FANTA! feat. RURU contain small stuff which are a voice pack & the usual wallpapers.
Until then, site improvements will continue along the way.

Lots of good things coming my way this month & next. PSP stuff, CDs, PVC figures, etc. All from past preorders that are finally being released. Now, I need to find a way to clean my closet & shelf to make space. I wasn't expecting to have a brought a lot of stuff again after passing out on a lot of anime figurines.
In anime news (not quite really), Viz licensed the Death Note live action movies. Since they have the Death Note anime & manga, it won't be a surprise for them not to get it. But I was expecting Time Warner to pick it up since they did fund & produce the movies a bit.
You may have noticed that this site is getting a face lift in some pages. Currently, I'm in the process of redoing the place as I mentioned last week. I've been proofreading reviews, changing the layouts a bit, putting fancy buttons, etc. I'm planning to get some Java & ActiveX stuff going as well. I do have some of that going on now, so make sure your browser has these features on. I'm also thinking of getting some flash going as well for pic purposes. Great idea for the collectable reviews. But, I'm having a lot of problems figuring out how to work the commands such as a simple "next" button. I'm not a programmer, so it's got me stumped. It may be a long time to get that going really. The special sections will be getting some as well once I figure out how I want to do the layouts. The first special section to get the facelifts will be either one of the Pia Carrot!! sections. I'm aiming for 3 instead of G.O. Because of the amount of web space here, I'm going to try to put some fancy stuff while minimizing space.
Updates this week includes the Ignis the White WF version review in the Jingai Makyo section. Yes, I want to brag about having this figurine. This is the first review that has the new review layout & is totally new; not a redo. Now go read it! For anime reviews, Lucky Star is up as well as Zombie-Loan. Don't expect more updates by the end of this month as I'll be spending more time improving the site instead.

I found it strange last week at work where I had a lot of check outs on a day after Labour Day. People should have checked out on that day instead due to school reopening & work. Before I started my day off, I knew there was a lot of check ins on Labour Day which was very strange. And speaking of strange, my work schedule is new revert back to my old format. Apparently, the front desk agent that was suppose to go back to school has decided to quit according to my GM. The program the agent was taking wasn't what he has expected. So, he'll be here as full time again instead of part time & my GM's plans after our evaluations may be back into effect. Either way, it's still hell for one person as phone calls & earlier check inners are coming at constant rates.
This past weekend, went to watch Balls of Fury. Personally, I actually didn't want to watch it as I don't like the idea of paying for a movie ticket for a movie like that. I admit it was funny, but I would rather watch it on DVD instead. Only went basically because a co-worker asked me & another to go & I've decided to get some fresh air at times.
Yesterday, I got my Ignis the White WF version in the mail. Didn't want to open it yet, but my family members opened it instead. Opened it when I didn't want to yet. Was planning to put it in the closet for some time. They paid the price for opening the box as Ignis came out with her breasts exposed. Didn't think that she was packaged like that. Actually surprised me as I thought she would be fully clothed out of the box. Didn't really get a good look at Ignis since I was too tired to do anything really. Anyways, since she's opened, may as well take pics of her & get a review up for her soon. I want my bragging rights! After getting Ignis, I was thinking that I'm pretty much back on collecting figures again. I better make my requirements stricter now.
You may notice that there are some strange spelling mistakes or misused words in my reviews & updates. Reason for it is that I don't usually proofread my work & it takes enough time as it is from my busy life. Currently, I'm fixing them up as I'm redesigning this place a bit. For the time being if you see something that doesn't make sense, just think about it & it should come out naturally. I don't plan to fix the old news updates though. Changing them would make it look like I'm change a lot of parts on it. I've started doing this when I was going to main fan based websites, I've been telling myself "Look at what they have & how crappy mine is!" There may be some more contents on the changes as well, but it's nothing major as most of it are going to be based on my taste. Also, I plan to make this a bit heavier in terms of having more images on pages. Since most people are now on high speed connections, I figure this won't be a major problem. You will slowly see some changes on this site unannounced. It may be a day by day basis. Also, I noticed that Imageshack has been producing some dead pics. It's like the pics are gone from the server. Uploading the missing ones from time to time. This is going to force me to finally learn on making web pages. But, I'm thinking of getting more RAM for my computer as well. Apparently, a Intel Core Dual with 1GB RAM isn't enough for my personal needs. My computer slows down & lags at times, which isn't something I was expecting.
In anime news, apparently Pandalian is already licensed by Funimation & showing on their channel. Not something I would watch though.
No updates this week as it was hell for me. I'll be spending most of the time "improving" this place in terms of appearance & features. The reason for the quotations is basically I don't know if the improvements will be good ones.

New month so all of August 2007 news are archived in the Past News Archive section. While I was looking at the August 2006 one, I noticed that it has been two years now that I have opened this place. Totally forgotten about it since I have been too focused on work & my personal life. So, I decided to put up some belated anniversary download for this which you'll find in the bottom of this update later. It's not a major one though.
Speaking of my personal life, this month should be having me go out a bit more with friends. One of my co-workers wants to watch Balls of Fury, which I think I don't want to go to since the movie seems to be a waste of money. I don't mind comedy, but at least something with a good & descent storyline. I have an old friend coming to Canada & one of my friends here wants to do an outing with her & give her a birthday present. Another is my co-workers wanting to celebrate my birthday after they found out when it is. But it's good to get my social life going again even though time is terrible on me.
You may have noticed that my update this week is a bit earlier than usual. Reason is that I have a day off tomorrow on Labour Day. Because the front desk agent that works in the morning is going back to school, the GM has given me that day off or else I could have worked eight days straight. But, I need to work on the Saturday for half a shift since it may be heavy during the morning. So, I get one day off this week. The bright side is getting the day off earlier this week.
For my anime collection, I've cleaned out my Pia Carrot!! 3 PVC summer figurines from the shelf & my Hellsing's Sera figurine as well. Sera's demonic arm was getting heavy & starting to fall down; creating the peg hole in her right shoulder joint to be bigger now. Right now, I don't know what to put on the shelf now. I plan to get my Trigun figures off as well & probably sell them away. There's space for two figures now, but most of my figurines are 1/6 or 1/7. I got 1/8 ones, but those are mainly Pia Carrot!! G.O. ones & I'm still missing three of those figurines in the Kotobukiya set. I'm thinking to either waiting for my preordered ones or put up my currently-in-the-closet ones. I'm itching to put up my Brighter than Dawning Blue's Feena figurine & Jingai Makyo's Ignis. But my new PVC figures that are coming soon are pretty big & will take up a lot of space. Plus, I still have an empty display case after cleaning out some trading figurines from it for a few weeks now. I've been too lazy to do anything really.
Updates for this week & new month is a complete anime review of Happy Seven & brief reviews of Potemayo & Zombie-Loan. For the belated anniversary gift, I got in the Downloads section NekoNeko Fandisk 2 & Remember 11 -The Age of Infinity- Desktop Accessory. I put two up since they contained very little stuff in it.
I'm thinking of putting a guestbook here, but I don't know if it's a good idea. My tamago toys Forum is getting spam members & I'm consider about getting spam stuff in a guestbook here as well. Plus, I don't know if there are a lot of viewers for this page as well. Also, I'm still wanting to revamp this place to make it a bit more fancier. But, I don't know what to do with it & I still have problems trying to get that frame on the left of here to stay permanent when navigating this site. Speaking of frames, if you have Java on, you will notice a Fate/Tiger Coliseum clock of Caren. Pretty neat as it's used to promote the upcoming PSP game. I don't know how long it will last as it's linked to Capcom Japan's Fate/Tiger Coliseum site as a cheap fan promo ad.
