Today is the last spurt to do all your Christmas shopping. As another Christmas present from me to you, I finally opened the Welcome to Pia Carrot 3 special section! Yeah! One thing to note though is that most, if not all, the girls' storylines may be wrong. They were based on memory. However, I do believe a lot of it is correct. If you are interested or curious about the game or the series, check it out. I'll update it only when corrections are needed or some minor stuff needs to be changed, such as more info about the girls or new merchandises I've purchased. Next will be Key's visual novel planetarian ~the reverie of a little planet~. That one is going to take time since I can't remember a lot of it & may need to read it again. But it's mainly the technical weaponry stuff that I can't remember..
I've put up another anime review in the Anime section. This time it's Rozen Maiden Träumend. Keep in mind it's not a complete review since I've haven't finished watching the whole show yet since it isn't over yet. For some reason, I'm wishing that a doll company will make a set of the Rozen Maidens in a 1/1 scale with their cases. I don't mind if they are windup dolls or not. I just want them. Watching that show really drove me that insane. Given the details I typed here, a single doll would probably cost a lot to own.
tamago toys, recently, you should be aware that we are having a Boxing Week sale soon. However, you people visiting my website here will get the 1st hand info of when it will happen. Hopefully, all of you have finished or near finished your Christmas shopping now. It's getting pretty bad on my side. Luckily for me, a lot of my friends are in Asia.
I added in the Anime section is a complete review of Futakoi Alernative. I got around in finishing watching it finally. Also added is Ninja Gaiden, an old OVA from the early 90's.
I finally got some time off my lazy butt to put up something from the Downloads section. Although I did say that I got everything prepared, I decided to put up the Chobits Digital Fanbox 1 & 2 stuff first. The rest will be saved for later. Hopefully, these small Christmas gifts from me will help relieve some holiday tension. Remember, these are just samples & I'm not going to put up more stuff from those discs. If you like them, find them yourself.

Good news for us Canadian TV viewers that have Shaw as their cable provider. On December 20, Shaw & the Anime Network (owned by ADV, the same company that has Newtype USA) have reached an agreement to have Shaw show the Anime Network channel in Canada using Video on Demand. For $4.99/month as a Shaw Digital TV user, you get 24 hours of commercial-free anime & live action Asian movies. You get popular & new anime series shown on a weekly basis for each episode (in other words, 1 episode a week for each anime series). The bad news about it, I think, is that it's English Dubs; something true anime fans may not want. I think the Anime Network will show the same thing as it's US counterpart with some restrictions to the CRTC laws. The service has already started. Check out Shaw's website for more details.

If you are a fan of Air Gear, then I have some good news to share with you. Air Gear will be made into an anime series sometime in 2006. I have no idea which studio is doing it.

Don't have a lot of time these days to play around, especially writing anime & collectable reviews. But I took some time to do some "previews" on some collectable items.
Below are 2 thumbnail pics of some of the new items I got & opened recently. The 1st pic is a trading figurine from Pocket Theater Hakka-Ya Collection Box version 1. It's a cute Christmas figurine featuring a neko girl! Nya! ^_~ She's got a name, but I can't read Japanese. My 1st impression of this figurine is that it's quite easy to assemble, giving how the pegs are shaped differently. Plus, she doesn't attach to that small base. This is one of 7 trading figurines in the set. There's a gashapon version of the set available for a slightly cheaper price. However, I would strongly recommend that you get the box version. The gashapon version has 5 + 1 figurines. The box version has the same amount, but 1 extra figurine. This extra figurine can only be obtain by collecting all 6 trading figurines since each figurine contains some parts to that extra figurine. Also, there is an alternative colour set. The gashapon version doesn't have this. If you want to get a set, I recommend to buy an untouched inner box which contains 12 pieces inside. Buying that 1 inner box will guarantee 2 complete sets (1 normal & 1 alternative set). However, gashapon or box version, it's very hard to get now since it was released in late October.
I've added a review to the Comic Party Revolution TV in the Anime section. Also added is Lamune, ARIA the Animation, & a slightly updated review of Shuffle!. It was written up to episode 20 & I've already seen episode 21.
I hope to get more stuff up before Christmas, especially the Downloads section.

Yesterday, I received my Street Fighter Pinky Chara figurines from the mail. I'm too busy this week to play around with them. I updated the Pinky section a bit for this case.During my spare free time that I have very little of lately, I've been still hunting for The Legend of Heroes & still haven't seen a box of it in real life. That game has been a pain in the rear since the day I've been looking for it which was it's release date. I'm also looking for PoPoLoCrois, but I'm not really interested in it since I don't know much about it yet. If you live BC (the Lower Mainland especially) & know where to get these PSP games, emaill me where they can be found & the prices for them. I'm more interested in The Legends of Heroes by the way.
Speaking of PSP games, I decided to update the PSP Games Saves in Downloads section with an updated save of Dynasty Warriors. There are now 191 officers there. Got 9 more to go. Plus, I've uploaded my Bleach: Heat the Soul game save which has all 134 cards in it. It's missing 2 character endings, which I can't remember at the moment & all the images from the Block-on mini game. Also, I threw in my Kingdom of Paradise game save that allows you to start a new game with the inventory I had in my previous game. I have 80% of the Kenpus there.

Since I got rid of my Full Metal Alchemist Part 1 gashapon set, I did a minor update to the review & the Full Metal Alchemist collection section. Mainly saying that I don't have it anymore.
Since I've did a minor update on the Downloads section, I hope to get the other stuff done in time before Christmas. Plus I want to throw in some anime reviews as well before I have a big pile of reviews to do at the end of the current anime season. This week is very chaotic for me since I got a lot of tight deadlines to meet.

Today, I received the last of my 2 calendars in the mail. I got the 2006 AIR calendar. As expected, it's one of those tear away calendars that you hang on the wall. I haven't taken it out of it's packaging yet since I don't want to open it now. It's wrapped tightly in plastic; like how posters are packaged. Thanks to the way it's packaged, I can't tell what AIR design it is. Is it the game, movie, or TV design? Since it's made by Movic & has the "AIR on TV" symbol on it, I'm assuming it's the TV designs. I tried checking around the net for pics of the calendar, but came up empty handed. I seen an online auction seller carrying this calendar, but the pic he/she had may not be from the calendar. At least from what I can see from the front cover of the rolled up calendar I have.I got off my lazy tired ass to scan the front & back of my 2006 Fate stay night calendar. However, it's still in it's packaging. If you are wondering what Fate hollow ataraxia is, that's the "sequel" to Fate stay night. Why I quoted the word sequel is because I don't know if it actually is. It does contain characters from Fate stay night & has a new character in it. If memory serves me right, it has some small computer bonuses in it & the game is still ero. Anyways, here's the pics of the covers if you haven't seen them on the web::
Ignoring the space & black pixel size bars in between, the 2 covers form a big picture of the girls from Fate hollow ataraxia. The full images are approximately what the size of the calendar is. I have seen what the calendar is like in the inside from Exhaust's website & they are the same ones from the Fate hollow ataraxia game. In fact, I have all the pics in the calendar as wallpapers for my computer. And they are the official wallpapers. These are just clean copies of them without the Fate hollow ataraxia or Type-Moon logos on them.

Recently, FUNimation has sent Cease & Desist emails to a large number of fansub groups to titles that they have "licensed". Why I quoted the word licensed is because there is no official announcements from any anime source that proclaims them to have licensed the anime titles they have asked to stop distributing on the net. These titles are Tsubasa Chronicles aka Tsubasa in North America, Black Cat, & Solty Rei aka Origin in North America (why it's called Origin is unknown to me). Those alternative titles came from FUNimation's emails. Eitherway, I think a lot of fansub groups will stop funsubbing these series for their safety & I don't blame them for it. I decided to do a minor update on the Tsubasa Chronicles anime review I made to reflect on the North America license. If FUNimation licensed the 1st season of Tsubasa, there's a good chance they may get the 2nd season as well; maybe before it gets aired in Japan.I finished Kingdom of Paradise recently & my impression of the game is ok. The ending felt incomplete to a good storyline, but the game play wasn't too bad. In other words, it was fun. Currently, I've gone back to playing Dynasty Warriors to get the other 10 officers that I'm missing & set all my characters' stats to triple digits (I have some generals with 90 something on their stats). I'm playing this game until I can finally find Legend of Heroes or PoPoLoCrois since I heard good things about it. I have no idea why I can't find these games in my area.a.
Today, I stopped by my favourite Japanese hobby store & got a few items there. Mainly trading figures & a set of Suika gashapons. Personally, I should stop with these things since I still got a lot I haven't opened yet. Plus, I recently remembered that I have a Tsukihime poster & I don't remember what was on it. Another thing to note is that I received my Fate stay night 2006 calendar. It's actually a wall calendar. My AIR one hasn't arrived yet since the company I ordered these from have shipped them in separate packages. The AIR is going to be tubed & the Fate one can't be put there. It came in an envelope.

I forgot to mention in my previous update about my findings on the upcoming Airgear Ringo Pinky that's coming with the volume 13 manga. I saw in the December issue of Hobby Japan (I think) magazine a full colour of the Pinky in complete form with all the accessories. Plus, how it looks like when all the parts are removed. Personally, I think it looks very good. The rollerblades do come off from the foot as separate accessories & it looks like it can roll. If I remember correctly, there are 2 wheels on each skate. It's coming out on the 16th this month in Japan & I'll probably get it sometime in late December or in January. I could care less about the manga since I don't know much about the series & I can't read Japanese.
Today, I asked my sister to put up another anime item I want to get rid of. This time is the Capcom Gals Collection 2 gashapon set. You can find the eBay listing of it on sale here. Since I had to take it out & assemble it for pics, I decided to do a review of it for people want to know about it. Also, I decided to get rid of my Death Jr. PSP game since I haven't touched it or take it out of it's packaging yet. Plus, it may not be my type of game after all. Find that listing here.In PC game & Guilty Gear news, Japan has released Guilty Gear Isuka for the PC recently I think. From the looks of it, it seems to be a direct port of the PS2 version. I really can't confirm it since I haven't played this game before I got a copy of the PC version. I think the game is fun, but I'm having too much difficulty with the button setups. I'm not use to fighting games with a "turn" button. Plus, I recently got a PC joypad for minor game playing since I'm not a hardcore gamer. I only brought the pad cause it was on sale.e.
Hopefully, I can get some more reviews & open the Download section more before Christmas ends. Got too much stuff to do lately.

For PSP personal shopping, I still haven't found Legend of Heroes around my area. It seems that no stores have heard of this game or have it in their store systems. I'm starting to wonder if the game will be coming to my area or not. Another RPG game that I'm looking for is PoPoLoCrois which came out not too long ago. Like Legend of Heroes, I can't find it. I may not plan to buy it. I want to see what it looks like first.

Not a lot or reviews, but at least I got some updates done here. As for the Downloads section, I've doing some checking on the web pages. I've got them done already using Frontpage, but I want to do some minor checking. As for the Pia Carrot 3 special section, some checking is being done as well. It's also ready to go soon.
Currently, I'm still itching to get my AIR & Fate stay night 2006 calendars in the mail. I should get them by next week. I plan to scan the Fate stay night & put it up here in the Downloads section if I got time & the calendar fits in my scanner's scanning area.

In anime news, I mentioned in the previous news update about the second season of Ah! My Goddess coming in early 2006. The show has been confirmed to air on April 2006. My prediction was off.

Unlike what that review says, I have put them away recently & replaced them with my Dead or Alive Ultimate gashapon set. I'll probably won't do a review of that set since I'm busy with work during this busy Christmas season. You probably get it in January, which is a shame since the secret figurine in that set is Kasumi in a sexy Santa suit.
I decided to post up an anime review of Tokimeki Memorial: Forever With You to get this site going a bit. Personally, I really hope to get some more up but I may not have the time to do it.
