Welcome to the Batalos website
Stuttering can be defined as a condition which may have a significantly detrimental effect on a person's life.
It is the purpose of this site to investigate the various means of both dealing with, controlling and possibly even curing the problem of stuttering. As such the patron of the site, from beyond the stars so to speak, is Demosthenes who according to legend overcame his stutter to become one of the greatest orators the world has known (though his fabled cure through practicing speaking with pebbles in his mouth isn't covered on the site)!
