VideoFACT
and PromoFACT Award Winners Announced - July 2001 round

| (Toronto, August 17, 2001) VideoFACT,
the groundbreaking music video production fund sponsored exclusively
by MuchMusic, MusiquePlus and MuchMoreMusic,
and PromoFACT, MuchMoreMusic's Website and EPK production fund
are pleased to announce award winners from the August 16-17, 2001
jury meeting. 17 Website applications, 19 EPK applications
and 244 music video applications were considered by the VideoFACT
Board of Directors (which also administers the PromoFACT program).
