~MESSENGER | Practice mid-air exchange of smaller packages and heavy bags. Precision drop of packages and bags. PASSENGER | Transporting passengers to various locations. These are hops, rather like a taxi, and are available for a price, the longer the distance, the higher the price. The higher the rank of the passenger, the faster the response to the request for transport. | High-Altitude Wing with general duties. | |
^PENAL | Transports prisoners to Botany Bay Weyr. In rare instances, may transport released prisoners back. Security duty and watchriders. ^This is the only wing who actually has contact with prisoners and wingriders go through extreme checks to make sure they are not easily persuaded to release a prisoner.^ | Watchrider's Wing | High-Altitude Wing with general duties. |
RESCUE | Mid-air rescue of dragons and riders. Mountain rescue of lost or injuried persons. Often pregnant riders are placed in this wing, as it goes between so rarely. | Weyrwoman's Wing. | Low-Altitude Wing with Rescue duties, spotting stray Thread to destroy as well. |
TOUR | Takes people around for several days in a row, either acting as a "rental transport" or as a tour guide to areas of interest. Also know the historical significance and geographical significance of areas around Pern. (Botany Bay is the only area not allowed to be toured.) They earn marks and goods by hiring out as a guide and transport. | Mid-Altitude Wing with general duties. |
