Made small and light .. these are my basic
product.. espeically suitable for children or play they are still attractive and
functional for the LARPer or duelist Short swords are of course short double edged weapons with crossguards. The Gladius is the Roman style shortsword which should be popular with movie fans.... |
|
Cutlas A cutlass is a single edged sword with a knuckle bow.. early specimens date back to 1400.. but we all know this one from the days of sail..so whether youre a pirate on the the high seas , or a duelist of a later era, or just looking for a versatile fun toy.. this may be your best bet Viking Despite the legends , norseman were *practical* people and thier short, light handy swords, with the rudiments of coss gaurd reflect this. |
|
Also from the dark ages and before , the short thrusting spear was popular with both raiders and those who opposed them.. franks, celts, saxons, vikings, everybody used this simple inexpensive weapon that provided a maximum of reach at minimum of weight with an economical price tag.. ours does too.

"Broadsword",
"longsword", "bastard sword" or "hand and a half",
Variations and refinements of this long blade with pronounced cross guard
were favored from the time of charlemagne through the end of the age of chivalry Available with a short grip for single handed use or a longer one for "hand and a half" (because of the added leverage and thier smaller hands the "hand and a half" configuration makes and ideal two hander for older children) |

. swords are precision weapons.. if you really want to put power in your stroke.. try an axe! our axes are even more padeed than our swords so you can REALLY give it your all without hurting your friends..besides thats what axes are for (certainly for the "why go around armor when you could go through it?" crowd) from hand axe to danish axe popular almost to the age of cannon... |
|
These take a little extra.. the grip of the Katana, the hand guard of the rapier, the tri-lobes and the size of the claymore.. but all of these are top of their class for winning a duel...the katana is the swiftest with the best control , but the reach and protection of the rapier are at least an even match... and then of course theres the claymore.. slower but with plenty of reach and power... |
|
Katana! why break your fingers with a boken or lose and eye to a stiff poke from a shinai when you can practice with our shiny beautiful soft replica of a katana. not curved. watermark is extra. For an additional $25 get a Wakuzashi to complete the set, or ask about prices for a Tachi or No-dachi! Rapier For centuries, starting in the 1300's the sword evolved toward a primarily thrusting weapon, by the 1400' more elaborate hand guards make ther debut... and by the 1500's long thin, almost purely thrusting weapons with complete hand protection are common. Swashbuckle to your hearts content.
Claymore Smaller and more nimble than a true great sword , but by no means a "hand and a half" the claymore has its place in the hearts of thousands... er..just under the third rib actaully... in any case, from weight and balance, down to the tri-lobed extedned cross guard we hope you'll appreciate our humble attempt to make an encounter with a scotsman carrying a claymore an experience you can enjoy again and again....

at a full 6 feet , this sword is the pinicle of reach and power.... awkward to carry when not in use, but exceptionally nimble because of the great leverage offered by long, long hilt (and the wrapped ricasso when you need to shorten up your grip for pesky close in fighting) . a real winner on any field |
|
Yes the technological breakthrough you've been waiting for.. a fully padded safe usable crossbow for your LARPing pleasure.. now when you've shot your bolt.. you can HIT THEM WITH YOUR CROSSBOW.. thats right... thsi corssbow is MADE to swing at your opponants and parry thier blows.. not only that it fires coreless bolts that should pass almost any LARP rulebook..just like the real thin though bows shoot longer and stronger.. but what the archer going to do when you close on him swinging THIS
