AREZ
networks and shares experiences with other environmental organizations both
locally and internationally.
ARE
is holds the vice chairmanship of Network Association of Water Issues in
Southern Africa (NAWISA) an information sharing network of 12 the southern
African countries.
In October AREZ team (Messrs
Chilumbu, Chisengalumbwe and Mulambya) attended a two day GWP- SA region
under Zambia Water Partnership (ZWP) workshop here in Zambia on developing a
work plan for ZWP with special emphasis in Integrated Water Resources
Management (IWRM) and to discuss public, civil and private sector
participation in IWRM.
In September Mr. Chozi Lungu
participated in the Nairobi Kenya workshop to form an African Continent
Freshwater network under Freshwater Association Network housed under Water
Aid UK.
In November Mr. Chilumbu and Mr.
Mulambya represented AREZ In the National stakeholders workshop seeking
their inputs (stake holders’) into the proposed Government policy framework
on water resources management.
