Abstract -
The issue of global warming was intensifies said among of
the researchers recently. It happens more so in the urban areas where most
buildings were built too high and dense with structures, vehicles, goods,
dwellers, visitors, wastes or any sources of pollutants . The price of the
allocated land in urban areas was too expensive and very limited for designers
to explore the green elements to implement and improve the ecological habitats
as well as to beautify the urbanscape. The idea of the green wall system on
façade is one of the most favourite solutions for designers to achieve the green
building design which currently related to energy efficiency. This system can be
placed during the design concept stages or later be installed to the existing
building wall commonly known as a Double Skin Façade (DSF). This particular
system is not new in the market. However, there is growing tendency from the
architects to put it into practice for certain buildings at certain places even
the construction types can be differ from one location to another. This paper
represents the findings of a team who have conducted an initial investigation
into double skin cladding systems in Malaysia. The study focused on the
flexibility approaches that improved indoor climate and reduced use of energy if
it has been designed properly to meet the climate changes. It also discussed
about the advantages and disadvantages of Double Skin Facade which found in
different literature sources as described. Further discussion is about the
implementation of the system in Malaysia based on the examples of office
buildings.

Abstract -
The radio wave signal system is a process of transmitting
information from a place and received in another place without the use of any
wire or cable connection. This innovative of radio wave signal letterbox has
been created to solve the problems facing by the flat residents. This idea is
triggered when conducting observation studies on flats and interviews with their
residents. It is found that many people who stayed in flats often faced the
problems regard the safety of their letterboxes. Among the problem is the loss
of letters and residents often forgot to collect letters. The invasions problem
also occurs in the letterbox. This radio wave signal letterbox is divided into
two parts as outdoor and indoor unit. The outdoor unit is installed in the
letterbox while the indoor unit is installed inside the house. Outdoor unit
function as the transmitter while indoor unit as the receiver. With the
innovation of this radio wave signal letterbox, the problem faced by the flat
residents can be overcome in where the signal will be given when the letter is
dropped into the letterbox. This radio wave signal letterbox also contains
security features that are completed with a buzzer in the indoor unit which it
will sound when the letterbox is enclosed or the letterbox door is open. The use
of this radio wave signal letterbox is very effective for flats and building.

Abstract - Pepper agricultural industries are one
of the most beneficial to the Sarawak economy as it's known for high quality
products. In order to ensure continuous expand in pepper industries, many
efforts have been made, including introducing efficient processes through
automation and advanced technology to maintain the quality of the end product.
One of major requirement in pepper processing in the industries is the sorting
process. Due to the nature of the peppercorns during its ripening process, each
peppercorn will ripen at different time and requires sorting process which
normally been done manually choosing or picking. To ensure the best quality
product, the peppercorn first must be selected and the over ripe peppercorns
have to be eliminated as the moisture content and the flesh from over ripe
peppercorn will promote the growth of fungi and speed up the decaying of the
peppercorns. In order to help the pepper industries to improve the product
quality, a concept of sorting machine was brought forward. The main objective of
this paper is to develop a sorting machine concept that can be used to sort the
peppercorn based on its colour identification through automated and precise
process. This process is a guarantee process that can improve the quality of the
product. This concept also developed to introduce a more efficient and hygienic
process in peppercorns processing.

Abstract - This study aims to find out the old
frame data with a new frame so that the data obtained from these two frames can
be used as a comparison of the results of the data in both frames and to obtain
data optimization by choosing a lighter frame. With a lightweight frame can save
electricity on the battery because of the use of electric power that is not as
big as a heavier frame. The author tries to find alternative models of
lightweight frames and saves energy on electric motorbikes with calculations
such as simulation analysis, calculation of frame volume, calculation of
gravity, calculation of centre of gravity, calculation of stability, calculation
of strength and analysis of calculation of energy consumption horizontal and
uphill paths. HK-40 material has proven to be better, the difference in both
materials when the road is horizontal distance of 300 m, there is a power
difference of 0,14 W and when the road climbs 60 m distance, a power difference
of 0,07 W. occurs in HK - 40 material can save power of 0,14 W on the horizontal
road and 0,07 W on the uphill road. Then the difference in power produced will
be even greater. So that there is a considerable power efficiency if used in a
considerable distance.
