GUIDELINES
JOJAPS is mainly published in English only since it is an international journal. Writers are asked to submit their papers in Microsoft Word document with tables and figures embedded in the text itself. Papers submitted for consideration of publication in JOJAPS must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere either in electronic or printed form. These papers should also have not been published previously. The corresponding author should declare regarding this issue when submitting the paper to the Chief Editor. Submissions are accepted electronically only.

The Chief Editor may decline to consider a manuscript for several reasons, including inadequate evidence that the method is substantially new and promising, poor preparation, an insufficiently clear and detailed presentation, and a lack of adherence to the journal’s guidelines for manuscript preparation.

The Chief Editor reserves the right to make the final decision when conflicts of editorial opinion arise. Once a manuscript has been accepted for consideration, it will be assigned to the Editorial Board for distribution to reviewers. Articles will be reviewed blindly by two or three persons with expertise in the area. The final decision regarding acceptance of the paper remains with the editorial board of the KAWANS.

As much as possible typescript should conform to the style set forth in the Publications Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA). Submissions should include the following information:
Author: Full name of author(s) with email address and institution.
Title: Title case only.
Abstract: Up to 200 words.
Provision of abstract is essential. The abstract should also provide minimum three keywords.
References: In APA except for Malay names. References should be placed in alphabetical order at the end of the paper and should be in Roman script.
Footnotes should be avoided. When an author’s name appears in the text, the date should follow in brackets, e.g. Isham (2015), or where there is reference to a particular page or quotation, e.g. Nurul (2010: 37).

FEES
The processing fee for publication of original papers and reviews for this journal is USD30 / MYR150. For any paper that come from MANUSEA the fee is USD30 / MYR150 plus processing fee in Medan equal to USD10 / MYR50. If the paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay the fee. Waiver policy is not applicable. We regret that publication fee cannot be waived or reduced in any case. Accepted manuscripts will not move into the editing process until payment has been received. The mode of payment is through Direct Deposit from any bank to our bank account with the following details:
