I moved to a new house.
In the morning, I thank my host mother,
Rinda.
She said to me, "enjoy the days
in London."
"She does." Host father, Lee, answered.
He drove me to the station. I really thanked
them, they were always kind to me.
After I brought my luggage in a new room,
I went shopping with Mamiko. I have to prepare
many things for a new life.
For that purpose, Street Market is the best.
First, we went to Portbello Market, which is open only on Saturdays. I bought
toilette papers, a bed linen, and a towel.
Bed linen is sold 20L at lowest at M&S
or such shops, however, here street market
half the price.
I felt good!
Now, I'll introduce my new house mates to
you. The landlord is a Korean man, called
Toto. He worked in Korea and now is studying
for MBA. And he has a wife and a boy baby.
A wife is called Kaka, and a baby's name
is Yungyu. They live on the ground floor.
On the upper floor, there are two rooms,
one is my room, and the other is two Korean
students room. Their name is Chongfu and
Bon. They are boys. You know, my new house
is a Korean house!
I went shopping to street markets again.
First, Petticoat Lane Market near Liverpool St.
There are many home commodities here.
Rinda,
who was my host mother, recommended
this
market to me very much.
I bought a large mirror, which reflects almost
my height, detergent, a cap, a tray...
Street market is interesting, so I took one
after another.
Then I went back home once, because it was
heavy.
Next, Mamiko and I went to Camden Lock Market.
On contrary, there are less house commodities,
but more pretty handmade things. And there
are many food stalls, e.g., Chinese, Thai,
Pizza, Bread, Japanese sushi,
We tried a spicy chicken fried rice of Thai
food.
IT was very hot and delicious and cheap.
We paid only 3.5L for that. Yet, after 5:30pm,
we heard "Everything 1 pound!"
Oh, we should have waited for a while.
Camden Lock Market.
