The Events Page

This page is here to provide information about permanent events. Details for events in general, and for one-time events in particular, can be found on the Gamers' Guild Calendar, which can be accessed from the External Pages dropdown at the top of this page.

Game Night

Game night is a great time to socialize, play games, meet the members of the guild or simply sit back and relax for a little while. We play all sorts of games including Rummy Tiles, Uno, The Game of Life Card Game, Rook, True Colors, Mao and many others. Anybody is welcome to join us because more people is more fun! Details about game night can be found on the calendar, which can be reached by the link in the navigation dropdown at the top of the page.

Rennaisance Faire

The Gamers' Guild has one very large special event each year; a trip to the Pennsylvania Rennaisance Faire. We make the trip on the last day of faire each year.

This year the last day is Sunday Oct. 30, 2005. If you are interested in attending, please contact any Gamer's Guild officer.

Medieval Times

We've always had The Rennafaire trip in Oct, but never have any trips in the spring. We are trying to organize a trip to the Medieval Times in NJ one day in the Spring Semester.

Halloween

This year, we are thinking about having a Halloween Scavenger Hunt. Think about it... It's Halloween, there's not much going on, so what do you do? You get dressed up, come to the Scavenger Hunt, get free candy, and possibly win some cool prizes!

Synopsis~ We will meet in the Mohn Hall Lobby around 4pm on Oct 28. You will be able to be on a team of 3. You will get a copy of the "LIST" for scavengering. Most of the items on the list will be odd items. You will have the whole weekend to get as many items as you can. On Mon Oct 31, around 7ish the Guild will meet at Mohn to do some trick or treating. Those items that you couldn't get, you will be able to ask for while trick or treating. Around 9:30ish we will meet again to tally up the scores, and the top winners will receive cool prizes!

More details will come as we develop the idea more.

About The Calendar

The calendar has been moved to our Yahoo!Groups location. This was done for a few reasons including compactness and that we can now put notes on the discussion board for you to check with the calendar. The downside is that you can't get into Groups unless you're logged in, which is difficult if you have not Yahoo!ID. Never fear, we have a solution!

Simply log in as AlbrightGamersGuest with the password i love to play games. It is important that you use no capitals and put the spaces in the password.
I have personally set up and tested the account, so I know that it works.

This will allow you to access out calendar and group discussions. If you would like to be less anonymous, Yahoo! accounts are free and useful, and you can sign up for one by clicking any of the Sign Up links that get posted all over Yahoo! when you aren't signed in.

Or, you can sign up by using the form below!
