Required Hardware: WebTV wireless keyboard
1. Get to where you need to CC&P your text. (E-mail or webpage)
2. Press your "Find" key on your keyboard to open up your "Find Word" screen.
3. Next, type the 1st word of the sentence that you want to CC&P. If the "Drag" highlights the wrong sentence, just type the sentence more further. Repeat steps 2 & 3 until it highlights the right sentence.
4. Press & hold your "Shift" key. Highlight (Drag) all the text you want to copy by using your arrow keys.
5. Press and hold your "Cmd" button. Now press "C." Because Method 1's click is more silent than method #2's, you may want to turn your TV up until you actually hear a "click." The click is 100% normal, so there is no malfunction.
6. Go to where you need to paste the copied text (Write a E-mail message, PageBuilder, etc.) and get your cursor highlighting that textbox. Next, press and hold "Cmd" again. Now press "V." This will paste all copied text, without typoes, or other flaws (unless you C&C'ed a typo. [btw C&C is Cut and Copy.])
1. left-click your mouse on the text you want to highlight, and drag your mouse down all the way to the end of the text you want to CC&P. (or get your cursor down to the text you want to cut and copy, then press & hold your "Shift" key. Highlight (Drag) all the text you want to copy by using your arrow keys)
1.5. Press CTRL-A to highlight all text.
2. Press CTRL-X (or CTRL-C.) This copies the text. 3. Get to where you want to paste the text (Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.) and press CTRL-V. Make all text boxes when necessary.
1. Get your cursor (The big yellow square) over any textbox. Now this is where everything branches out. You can either type text to CC&P, or you can CC&P what is inside of it.
1A. Empty text box -- Type the text that needs to be cut and copied, then press and hold your "Cmd" key. Now press "A." This will highlight what is inside the textbox. Still holding your Cmd key down, press "C." The click here is a little bit louder than method #1's, so you won't need to turn your TV up too loud. Now get to where you need to paste the text (PageBuilder, E-mail, URL box, etc.) and pres and hold your Cmd key and press "V." This will paste the text.
1B. Already-filled Text Box (like the one's ware you get the codes for my sigs) -- With the cursor over the textbox, press "Return." Press and hold your Cmd Key, and press A. Next, with the Cmd key still held down, press C. Next, get to where you need to go (PageBuilder, E-mail, SigBox, etc), highlight that textbox and press Return. Press and hold your Cmd key and press V.
1. Get to the textbox with all text you want to CC&P.
1A. blank textbox--type text to CC&P, then press CTRL-A. Now Press CTRL-X (or CTRL-C.) Then press CTRL-V to paste the text anywhere you wish.
1B. Filled textbox--Go to it, then press CTRL-A. Then press CTRL-X (or CTRL-C.) Then press CTRL-V to paste.
And that is basically everything to Cut, Copying, and Pasting in a nutshell. Have fun!
