ARCHERY ACADEMY & HOYTUSA 11th Australian Indoor Archery Championships, Adelaide, 2003The event will be held at The Parks Community Centre, Angle Park, site of the Indoor Event for the 7th Australian Masters Games in 1999 and for the 8th & 10th Australian Indoor Archery Championships. The venue is the basketball/multi-purpose stadium at the "The Parks", Cowan Street, Angle Park. (For the location refer to the map below.) It can accommodate up to 40 archers on the line; therefore, shooting will be undertaken in flights based on bow types/sections. Depending on the number of entries, there will be 3 flights each day. The full program with flight details is posted below. For the Championships, each archer will be required to shoot two rounds. A FITA Indoor I round, i.e. 60 arrows at 18 metres, will be shot each day. The Championships is a FITA Award Tournament. Shooting of the first flight each day will commence at 8:30am with practice and equipment inspection available from 7:30am. Separate practice/warm-up facilities will also be available for those shooting the next flight when the current flight is underway.

Private transport distance to the venue from the Adelaide GPO is 11 km. Travelling time is approximately 20 minutes. About 8 indoor warm-up targets (approximate range 6m) will be available all day from 7:30am. Archers and spectators who wish to attend more than one Flight will be comfortably accommodated. The stadium has a viewing balcony overlooking the hall and "The Parks" complex has many other facilities.
