BOOKS:
Aside from philately, I also collect paperback and hardback books. As of present count, my personal library has 500 plus pocketbooks and a hundred hard bound books. Fiction, however, comprises the majority, which consists of espionage, thrillers, classics, and drama from various authors the likes of Evelyn Anthony, Robert Ludlum, Johannes Mario Simmel, Frederick Forsythe, Harold Robbins, James Michener, Pat Conroy, Charles McCarry, Helen MacInnes, and William Shakespeare. Nonfiction includes subjects as diverse as philosophy, psychology, theology, science, espionage, history, writing and general information such as compedia, lists and others. Book-of-the-Month Club greatly enhanced my collection through my membership in 1995. I am also a member of the Barnes and Noble Book Club.

 CDs & TAPES:
Music also encouraged me to collect cassette tapes from rock and roll to ballad. Recently, I switched to the new format - - Compact Discs. My favorite artists are Sting, the latter's disbanded band (what a juxtaposition!) The Police, Bryan Adams, Michael Bolton, Cutting Crew, Toto, and Survivor.  QUILL:
If I am not busy collecting all the above things, I am engrossed with my journalistic attempts. During my scholastic years, I began as a high school student paper's, The Mayon, as a lowly contributor and finally became the Editor-in-Chief of the university's paper, The Bicol Universitarian. Kindly verify my alter ego's quill output at Rey Adel's Prose & Poetry. Lots of cool stuffs there, ranging from prose to poetry, puzzles to wysiwyg's, short stories to novel. Most of these were from my high school and college days and the recent ones were lifted from the corporate publication of the company I am presently employed.

 ART WORKS:
Also, I sketch using charcoal, pen and ink, dabble with paints, smeared my watercolors, tried oils, made cartoon strips and a lot more, just to while away the time.
