ABdAs Note: As of this moment, there is no mailing list that caters to selling Philippine stamps, but there is one that encompasses all stamp collections worldwide. Try visiting http://www.stamps.org and visit on their stamp exchange, dealers, colelctors' pages. If you want to buy Philippine stamp sheets, please visit the Links page and copy and write to the Philippine Postal Corporation. Sorry I do not sell stamps or other philatelic items on this site!

I'm just starting w/ my stamp collection. I have
some idea on how to organize them, but maybe you
can give me some more tips, like the do's and
dont's. How can I start "getting" stamps from
others? I have no specific theme(s) in my mind
yet. But I'm keeping everything I could have.
Thanks for listening and sharing how you started
with this hobby.

ABdAs Note: I am in the process of finishing the Tips and Tricks section of this site. I have mailed you the gist of the topics that I am developing to answer the 5W + 1H of Stamp Collecting. Thanks for the interest!

My Grandfather brought back several sheets of stamps from the Philippines after the Philippine insurrection (late 1800's, early 1900's), and I have not been able to locate them in any catalogs, like Scott's, etc. Do you have a contact that may provide some information about the stamps? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ABdAs Note: Unfortunately, my forte in Philippine Stamps is the more recent issues covering the Republic, thus I would like to suggest the following experts on
this subject: Abraham Q. Luspo, Jr., Bill Oliver, Dr. Ngo Tiong Tak T. Please state that I have recommended you to them because of their expertise. Also you could try contacting the APS, especially the APS
Library, regarding this. They can be reached through their website:
http://www.stamps.org.
