What is Global Warming

Global warming is a long-term increase in average air and ocean water temperatures that significantly affects plant, animal and marine life environments.

Global warming is caused by non-natural upper atmosphere gases which prevent nightly reradiation of heat back out to space. Examples of these gases are CO2 produced by power plants and other combustion processes.
