What should I do?

Okay, as you can see I've no more time to keep this site working. So what should I do? Abandon it? Give it? Sell it? I asked for help a long time ago and I got few answers. If you have any idea of what I should do with UVGSCP, please tell me by email.

VGS updated to 1.4!

I know I'm late, but guess what? Connectix updated VGS to version 1.4. It supports more games and also allow toplay NTSC and PAL format titles. Connectix launched a PC version of VGS a few months ago too.

Please be kind!

I have seen lot of Mac users getting angry because of all the PC users flooding the Message Board. Please be kind. This web site is open to everybody, stop racism now! :)

Compatibility list update...

I updated the compatibility list and cleaned up UVGSCP mailbox before it gets out of control! Send reports in, especially if you found a workaround for a game that doesn't actually work.

One year!

UVGSCP is now one year old! Unfortunately, since that time, VGS developpement was stop by court order. I haven't updated this page for a while, but when a new version of VGS will be released, I will update it regularly, like it used to be. For now, the Message Board is very active and I think it's the best place to exchange information about VGS. Use it wisely!

Connectix announce temporary suspension of VGS shipments!

Connectix will comply with a San Francisco Federal District Court decision and will stop shipping VGS for some time. It seems that Connectix copied the PlayStation Bios for use in the development of VGS. The good news is:
"Development activity of improved versions of the Macintosh product and the forthcoming Windows version is not affected by this decision and will go forward as planned."

Let's all hope we'll have the privilege to see a new version of VGS! For more information you can read Connectix press release and an article on Yahoo.

Long delay between updates...

Well sorry if it took so long before something changed on this page. I'm currently overloaded of work and there's not so much new too! I'll try to update the compatibility list this week end. Stay tuned!

DexDrive website...

If you're looking for saved game take a look at DexDrive.net, the best DexDedrive site I've found (enhanced with ShockWave). There are two sections, one with Nintendo64 DexDrive saves and, of course, the other one with PlayStation DexDrive saves.

More information on Macintosh port of Bleem!

emulation.net reported today that MacCentral posted more information on the new PlayStation emulator: Bleem!

Bleem!

There's a new PS emulator called Bleem! developped for the PC and that may be ported to MacOS. This new emulator seems to be great and better than VGS because it uses hardware to render images! Be sure to take a look at these screenshots: Tekken 3, Gran Turismo (looks incredible!), Bloody Roar and Jet moto 2. Oh yeah, there's a demo available for PC users! The final version should be available for 39,95$. I hope Connectix will rework VGS and add hardware rendering too!

Still there, but not so much news!

Well, there's a new "Simple, No-frills, Relatively Alphabetical, Completely Unadorned, but very useful Connectix Virtual Game Station (CVGS) resource page". I haven't found anything on that page that isn't on UVGSCP already but there's a cool list of places where you can buy VGS!

Looking for a partner to help with UVGSCP.

I'm looking for someone to help me maintain UVGSCP and to correct my english! So if think you can help -and you want to- email-me a short presentation of yourself.

Sorry for the ads...

My message board provider, Server.Com, is now adding an ad on the top of each message posted. Sorry about that... But at least, the Message Board has been up for about 3 weeks without any failure!
