Ok I will help you out click on the map to find out.
As you can tell from the map. (I hope you went to the map) Bessemer is in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. For people that were raised in th U.P. we are called Yoopers.
So you want to be a Yooper, eh? Hold on it is not that easy. You do not need a passport, but you do need to fill out the Yooper Residency Application.
We can`t be letting just anyone in.

As you cruise down that M28 or US 2 keep your eyes open. You will see some nice scenery like trees, trees and more trees. But the minute you do not watch the road you just might see this.

As you can see the U.P. is a beautiful place to live.
But you may wonder how the U.P. was created.
