Day 8 � January 29/06
What a sad day. Woke up to find ourselves docked to Miami. Back to reality. No more "special drinks of the day". Time to go for one last breakfast at Rosie's Restaurant, then de-embark.
Back to the airport we went. We got there quite early, and our flight was an evening flight (I think it was something like 8:00ish pm?). I just remember hours and hours of waiting at the airport.
Bought a book at the airport to read. I can't remember which one (I'm thinking Steven King or Dean Koontz) and I read the whole book before our flight departed!
I also was able to check out the souvenir store at the airport (bought some postcards, and a couple of unique "Miami" chocolate bars for the girls that looked like round coasters. It was a round, thin, coaster like tin that housed chocolate.
I even slept at the airport for a bit! And obviously, we ate. It was a long wait.
Our flight did eventually take off, and we were home again.
