The Mercedes-Benz C-Class

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is as entry-level as Mercedes-Benz goes.  (This website will soon set the world record for most hyphens used in a single paragraph)  The C-Class consists of the C230, C280, and sporty C46.  The CLK is also derived from the C-Class.  The base engine in the C230 is a 2.3 litre 4-cylinder delivering 148hp.  That's impressive for a base engine.  These cars begin at about $32,000, but will top off at just under $40,000 after options and all of those other charges.  Suggested alternatives for this car are the BMW 3-Series, and the Audi A6.  Details will be for both the C230 and C280 with standard engines in both.
