The Mercedes-Benz CLK & SLK

These roadsters from Mercedes-Benz both cost about $39,000.  While the SLK is made to compete with the Porsche Boxster and BMW Z3, the CLK is in a class of its own.
The Mercedes-Benz SLK230, the yellow car shown below, is probably the least Mercedes Mercedes ever made.  It's small, cut, and doesn't look very intimidating.  It is, however, completely Mercedes.  One can see traces of its big brother, the SL, but this is a true roadster.  It begins and ends at $39,700.  How do you tell an SLK on the street?  It says KOMPRESSOR on the side.

The Mercedes-Benz CLK, shown below, is based on the C-Class.  While its platform is C-Class, the styling comes from the E-Class.  It recieves features from the S-Class.  It drives like an SL-Class.  Any questions?  Its engine, a V6, is the first V6 ever made by Mercedes.  It also starts at just under $40,000.
