  • Went live with the new navigation system on /subaru and root. I hope this works! I'm publishing it now mainly because I'm fed up maintaining two sites. Let me know if you have any problems with it...
  • Published the start of a report on the Central Scotland meet.
  • Updated the My Car page with more of the recent stories (Brakes, wheels etc)
  • Added an August 1999 Knockhill Track Night page with a couple of photos to be going on with...
  • Added an Aberdeen 1999 meeting page with a couple of photos and a very good effort...

16 September 1999

  • Started plumbing in the new navigation system *grin* - Javascript based, it's a real - ahem - learning experience! It's involving a bit of restructuring behind the scenes, so I'm going to have to try to maintain the old version and the new version until I get the thing completed :<
  • Wrote a little bit of text around what happened when I published the STi 6 information last week.

7 September 1999

  • Added details of the Scottish SIDC Glasgow area meet on September 26th. I'm not going to update my main What's New page (i.e., this page) when I update the meeting details. There is, however, a NetMind form on the the meeting page, which can be used to track updates to that page. Got that?! Good!. (I'm not sure I understand this paragraph myself ;> )

  • Uploaded recent changes
  • Finally managed to scan in the photos of the Jim Clark Memorial Rally - the Day Photos and the Night Photos too...

12 July 1999

  • OK. An hour-long train journey from London to Coventry, so it's time to sort this baby out.
  • Added a link to SETI@Home to my sponsors page.
  • Removed the paragraph at the top of this page regarding my new domain name.
  • Created a page for my photos from the Jim Clark Memorial Rally 1999. Sadly no photos yet, I haven't scanned them in yet...
  • Set up my site search engine (which still needs to be refined a little; bear with me :>) with a little assistance from www.beseen.com
  • I really should have learned by now to do ONE THING AT A TIME :<
  • Created a search page and the various links in my menu structure I needed to reference it - but it stills needs some work.
  • Still working on the Avantgo channel - I can't get my webspace provider to allow me to upload .sub files (which avantgo requires in order to automatically recognise an avantgo channel definition) so in the meantime if you want to subscribe to my avantgo subscription then you'll need to do it manually from the avantgo website at http://www.avantgo.com. The web page you need to link to is http://www.leask.org/handheld/indexhh.html.

5 July 1999

  • Passed 500 hits on http://www.leask.org/subaru - this calls for a light libation ;>. 500 hits per month ain't too bad!!

23 June 1999

8 June 1999

  • Uploaded recent changes
  • Created navigation menus within my home page for the all the models I added yesterday and updated all the nav menus accordingly within my site.
  • Created an additional menu in my Subaru pages for "ScoobySnacks" which I suppose is my childish attempt to find a Subaru-related caption for "miscellaneous stuff" - and created menu items for my Roofbar photos and a cross-link to my (as yet unfinished) WRC model page.

7 June 1999

  • Created pages for my new cars, of which I am very proud - My new cars are a Mercedes CLK GT-R and a Nissan R390 GT1! Unfortunately they're home-assembled plastic models :> I haven't created navigation menu items for them yet - I'll add those later (I'm getting lazy!) (when I figure whether to put them in my home page or my Subaru pages - what a tough decision!) Meanwhile the links on this page are the only ones available.
  • Created a page for my next model - a Subaru Impreza 1998 WRC - so far I've only photographed the raw kit - stay tuned for updates... (same story for the navigation buttons)
  • Fixed the link on this page on 31 May 1999 to point to the correct Stu & Anna's Wedding page! (whoops) and other assorted typos. *sigh*

  • Added the NetMind box to the What's New page. Please feel free to use this to track changes to the site - I'll always update the What's New page, so you can be certain of spotting the update if you monitor this page.

  • The observant amongst you will have noticed that I have continued to host my site at Geocities; the http://www.leask.org domain is domain-forwarded by http://www.namesecure.com. They have a URLGripper service (which meant that my domain name continued to display in the browser address bar) but unfortunately it doesn't work too well with frames; so I had to turn it off :<. Consequently you'll get redirected to http://www.geocities.com/~leaskc/ any time you attempt to access www.leask.org - but then again, which is easier to remember? ;>
  • Passed 400 hits on www.leask.org! This will stop rising so quickly now that I've moved my Subaru Pages (the leask.org index.html page used to be the home of my Subaru pages) - but it's still a bit of a milestone to me :>
