Used EVs For Sale in the Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia Area

Note: Information assembled by Dave Goldstein and Charlie Garlow and is provided as a service of EVA/DC. All information has been provided by the owners, and EVA/DC assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of this information or the condition of any used vehicles. Some information has not been fully verified but is believed to be accurate. Typically, used EVs require some degree of "hands on" maintenance and may require a new set of batteries. A typical battery pack, consisting of deep-cycle 6 volt lead-acid "golf cart" type batteries, may cost $800-1200 and with proper watering and care, should last for about 3-4 years before being recycled. Because there are fewer moving parts and little heat to degrade components, EVs can last for 15-20 years or more with routine "do-it-yourself" maintenance. Buyers are advised to inspect for rust.
