Wishes &
Thoughts on the New Year If I could write Santa my christmas list, it would simply say "I want my honey, Alan, in Manila for the holidays..." He says he'd be here if he could --- and I believe you, honey. So this year we celebrate christmas twice because we are still separated by a 13 hour time difference. Next year, we know we will be celebrating Christmas holding each other. |

Christmas
morning, I wake up with an email with my own name, on AOL
Alan had always kidded me he would give me my own sign-up on AOL and on Christmas morning, I was greeted with email from my own AOL account...=) It was one of the best presents I ever got, second only to having Alan's love and affection. In many ways, it was another way to let me know how much I mean to him because of the sign-up name he gave me. I'd rather keep it between him and me for now, until such time when it is fitting that I use that account publicly. |

1999 has
been a great year for me
because I met the one I would want to be with year after year after year. I am also thankful for the countless friends I found, and the many others who have been with me through thick, thicker and thin. (I know you guys know what I mean...LOL) So I end the year thanking the Lord, once again, for having given me a happy and prosperous 1999... I think Him for the lessons learned, because even when things didn't go right, I knew there was a reason for the heartache or the pain. And most of all, I thank Him for bringing Alan into my life. |

And I know
2000 will even be a better year
as I journey on to being the best that I can be... and I find my home with the one who means the world to me 10,000 miles away from where I am. |
