Fe and I became classmates in 1983 but we didn't become friends til 1985.  I remember walking up to her even if we were but mere acquaintances and I recruited her to join our political party for the Student Council elections of UP Manila that year.  We have been the dearest friends eversince.  This picture was taken in 1993.

 

She had left for the US in 1996 and had returned in 1997.  By then I was already working at PRU LIFE of U.K.  We both went to law school although we landed in different schools.  I have to admit she was one of my sources of inspiration to pursue law as a career, although at the present time, she is in active practice while I am in Corporate Communications.

The biggest difference between us is that she doesn't go on the net.   We've been friends for over ten years and remain to be the   closest and "bestest" of friends to this day. Photo taken last June 14, 1998  with Julio, Fe's nephew

We both love to sit at our favorite cafe, CAFE ADRIATICO, and while the Sunday afternoon away.  When we're both in Makati where I work, we would sit in the deli or just go around the malls.  We can spend hours on end just talking... and even if we see each other regularly, our letters and phonecalls continue unabated.
