Lord Naga Sadow

One of the two Sith sorcerers vying for the title of Dark Lord of the Sith after the death of Lord Marka Ragnos, Naga Sadow became the tenth Dark Lord after defeating his opponant, Ludo Kressh. His conquests into the Old Republic finally led to his overthrow when Sadow returned from war to find that Kressh, thinking Sadow dead, had declared himself Dark Lord of the Sith. Kressh exiled Sadow, who, pursued by Kressh's followers, fled his world in his corsair. In the ensuing battle, Sadow ordered one of his ships to ram Kressh's ship, killing the Dark Lord. Sadow was almost defeated as the Empress Teta sent a fleet to trap him, but he ordered the Sith followers on those ships to attack their lords, using their ships as a barricade for his own flight.

Destroying the double star system Denarii Nova in the process, Sadow escaped to the moon Yavin IV with his followers, who he warped with Sith magic to become the race of Massassi. Sadow used his dark powers and Sith amulet to make monstrous creatures of nightmare and then hid these creatures to guard against any intruder into his domain. Years later, one of these creatures was defeated by Exar Kun, who gained Sadow's amulet.

Ludo Kressh

After the death of Lord Marka Ragnos, Ludo Kressh thought himself the logical choice to succeed as next Dark Lord of the Sith. And when his rival, Naga Sadow, showed up late to Ragnos' funeral and then declared himself the dark lord, Kressh was furious. He challenged Sadow to a duel, but both were interrupted when the spirit of Ragnos appeared to them, cautioning them and urging them to strengthen the Sith empire rather than engage in rivalry. Sadow finally won the upper hand and was declared Dark Lord of the Sith, continuing the conquests of the Sith into the galaxy. Kressh, however, was not content to rest as Sadow's underling. His chance finally came when Sadow left to conquer the inner worlds of the Republic and did not return. Thinking Sadow dead, Kressh declared himself Dark Lord of the Sith. When Sadow returned, he found himself an exile, pursued by Kressh's minions. But Sadow tricked Kressh and, in a final battle, rammed his ship against Kressh's ship, killing him.

Freedon Nadd

One of the most powerful Sith magicians in the history of the galaxy, Freedon Nadd had hoped to become Dark Lord of the Sith, knowing that only one Sith could hold that exalted position. When it became clear, he was not the one to be chosen, Nadd, wanting a world he could rule, left his homeworld and came to the world of Onderon. With his magic, Nadd made Onderon the focus of dark side power and many Force users were drawn there by Nadd's sorcery. At his death, Nadd's body was mummified and hidden on Onderon by his followers. Centuries later, Nadd's spirit again arose, inciting dark force users on Onderon to a rebellion, which was put down by the Jedi Ulic Qel-Droma. Nadd's tomb was found by the Jedi Arca Jeth, who then constructed a supposedly impenetrable tomb for the Sith Lord on the Onderon moon of Dxun.

After the rebellion, Nadd's spirit seemed to vanish but in reality was still trapped on Dxun, waiting for someone to free him and give him back his lost power. The Jedi Exar Kun, led to the moon by Nadd's followers, found Nadd's spirit haunting the tombs. Nadd ordered Kun to lift up his mummified body and take Sith scrolls that would give him power. Nadd's plan was to use Kun to restore his corporeal body so he could rule Onderon once more. However, Kun saw through Nadd's scheming and destroyed Nadd with a Sith amulet made by Naga Sadow. Nadd's spirit body disintegrated, never to return.
