Saturday 16 August 2003.  We joined a "March for Jesus" in the city of Oradea.  The march started at the edge of the city at the market in Nufarul.  This is also where  is located.

0462
The parade truck played music and was decorated with balloon, banners, and crepe paper.

The providence of God was shown here.  Steve, a local, came to us and asked to borrow our generator.  Somehow he found out that we had a generator.  He needed the generator because he was in charge of setting up a sound system on the truck for this march.  He was very desperate because he didn’t know where in Oradea he could find a generator.  It was providence that we were here at this time and that we had the perfect generator – very low noise.

0463
There were lots of people in the parade from several different churches.  I wish I knew how many churches.

0464
I was impressed to see the flag of Israel.  There were obviously some messianic Jews in the parade.

0487
The parade paused in front of the city hall for prayer.

0488
Here the Catholic priest is praying.  All the other church pastors prayed as well.

And Pastor Ciuciui of , followed by Pastor Scott Bradshaw from America, Grace Church of Fredericksburg, Virginia.

These people had a nice banner, but it is in Hungarian – I can’t translate.

0491

The parade continued to an old fort that had been converted to a park.  Cetatea Oradiei.  Several groups played music, and songs.

All the church pastors prayed again at the festival.  Here Scott Bradshaw is praying.

0614

Our band, Desperate, was scheduled to play at 2:00PM, but the program got ahead of schedule.  When Desperate was supposed to play, they were nowhere to be found.  A group from Salem filled in for them, very nicely!  Ted Ciuciui on keyboard & vocal, Danny Ciuciui on drums, and Niki as lead singer.
