0234 Sunday 10 August. Baptism at . The church does not have a baptstry pool, so arrangements were made for another pool. But we did not have exclusive use of the pool! Kids with pool toys and women in bikinis were all arround the pool.

0233 We set up our instruments and sound system and worship the Lord. Lots of hand clapping and dancing —while people in bikinis and Speedos were swimming around, totally not expecting something like that

0235 Pastor Cuiciui and son Ted translating to English for us Americans.

0236 There were 17 people who got baptized that night! They all gave their testimonies, which were wonderful to hear. This is Phoebee (sp?) she gave her life to Christ during last summer's mission trip.

0241 The testimonies varied from people who grew up in the church…

0265 This man worked at the church. We saw him everyday, faithfully chopping wood. He helped with church construction and other hard labor jobs for the church. I think it is so awesome that he came to know Jesus.

0267 And this little old lady! She was awesome. The first thing that came out of her mouth was praise. She was on fire for God!

0280 It is tradition for the people getting baptized to wear white.
